I've wanted to make this big announcement for many months now, but it's been difficult to think of the best way to express my decision. As of today I have decided to close Outlaw Star Nexus. I hope you will understand my reasons for doing this. Outlaw Star is an amazing series and I'm truly grateful for everything it's brought me: a fantastic universe to explore, the opportunity to build a community and the new friends I've made from that. There comes a point after spending so long in a niche series' fanbase that you realise it may be time to move on. The truth is that I've already explored the vast majority of Outlaw Star's lore. There are other fantastic shows with unexplored lore and communities I can contribute more to than I can here. Surprisingly, even though Outlaw Star could be considered a niche there are more popular shows out there that don't even have a proper fan site. For the past half-year I've been building a whole new community for a show I didn't give much of my time beforehand. After giving it another go, my newfound respect and appreciation of the show has driven me to build a new site for it. I think I can now truly understand the show's meaning and the deep messages it conveys. It's liberating. I decided to avoid showcasing the site until it's complete, but if you visit this link you can at least see what it's about and bookmark it. I'm hoping you will join me on this new journey.
