I know everyone has their own taste so I thought this would be a fun topic.

For me, I like a little bit of everything but for the most part I just listen to very passive music these days. Trentemoller is a new fave of mine. It is just very relaxing. Like gaming music. I really can't stomach most rap these days and I am not a fan of heavy metal or music with a lot of screaming. I think the most I ever got into that was Killswitch Engage. Even then, it was only for bits of the song, not the whole song.

Anywways, what is some music you don't like?

I'm not fond of rap or hip hop in general-I don't think it's a bad form of genre in of itself and it's certainly something one would need talent for but I could never get into it. To me, it's the intrumental aspects of music that get me going and hip-hop, for the most part at least, focuses entirely on the lyrics.

I do, however, despise super sappy love songs. When you have a mother that listens to a ligh FM station while she is doing housework, you will grow to hate it quickly.

I like a little bit of most everything as well. My least favorites are rap and country music.

Now, I can deal with some of the older country stuff (it reminds me of my dad), like some Kenny Rogers or something. Still, it's low on my list as far as enjoyment goes.

Rap just bugs me. Too much of it glorifies things that shouldn't be glorified. I also hate it when some kid pulls up and jams it so loud that you can't hear your own music. Enjoy what you want, but stop trying to force it on me.

Well I really can't stand listening to modern music, mostly the new rappers and boy groups. Aside from that, I do love metal but I really can't listen to Death Metal even for a minute. I got goosebumps when a friend of mine told me to listen to Cannibal Corpse and Cradle of Filth. I played one song from each band and as soon as I heard the voice that was singing, I immediately stopped playing the song. I find it really creepy.

I listen to music every single day and some of my favorite genre are Soul, Pop, Reggae, Instrumental, Alternative Rock, Country, some Jazz, some Orchestra and Classical. Well I started listening to metal and rock songs thanks to my hubby as he influenced me to do so. If there's a genre that I can't stand, that would be Screamo and Death metal as it hurts my ears.

The one genre I never liked and still annoys me whenever I listen to it somewhere is Reggaeton. I especially hate when people blast it with the bass boosted to unnecessary levels. To me, it just sounds like noise. The vocals are also lazy. It's mostly always one or two lines with the same beat over and over again. It gives me a huge headache. I get that people like the music but it doesn't mean that the whole neighborhood does. People need to keep that racket or any racket to themselves.

I don't like Justin Bieber, and other boy bands :D I have nothing against if someone else likes them or not but I just can't listen to that kind of music really.
