k so, instead of annoying mantis by posting my awfully typed messages in other topics ill try to contain it in here. seems fairer i think. i suggest baron stay well away from this thread due to his grammar nazism :P

i would like to point out that i am definitely not drunk!

welcome to my journal of whining! (ie, come back from work at 4:30am, tired but not relaxed enough to sleep thread)

i think ive pulled a muscle in my back, ive lost my voice from shouting over loud music, my ears are still ringing and im feelin' a bit full from potatoe wedges 8)

but naaaah, although ive just complained i dont mind my job too much, it can actually be pretty good fun. im still in high spirits despite all ive said :)

okay sleepy time.

Sleep well. :D

23rd January 2011, 05:12 AM
I've just enjoyed some salmon. It was grand. I'm sure tomorrow (today?) will be good fun (don't forget our chat room party), and goodnight!

23rd January 2011, 03:51 PM
Do want. Both of them. So, what time did you wake up? 2.30PM for me. XD

23rd January 2011, 03:52 PM
Not as good as watching a great anime. Or, at least, a fairly good one.

23rd January 2011, 05:00 PM
Hmm well I didn't get outta bed till 3:30pm :(

23rd January 2011, 08:16 PM

there are no words!

23rd January 2011, 08:20 PM

there are no words!

LOL, that was awesome, but what was it's relevance? (although I'm not complaining, it was the best thing ever)

23rd January 2011, 08:20 PM
Damn, they scream like nine-year-old girls, but wow. That was pretty awesome.

23rd January 2011, 09:43 PM
no relevance! just pure awesome.

23rd January 2011, 09:59 PM
Makes my day worth living right there.

25th January 2011, 02:47 AM
Okay so its 3:30am I can't sleep, yay.

Today I did no Uni work (arrrrrggh) but I did clean my entire flat (I live on my own, just me, myself and I) not that it was that messy, as I am a bit of a neat freak, but really needed a good all over spring clean :p

The bathroom smells lemonyy mm.

Trying to think of something to have as my avatar pic, as I guess I'm looking a bit bleak, but I can't think of anything. Suppose it should be something Outlaw Star related really. Maybe Suzuka kicking butt? Hrmmm.

Keep seeing all these people with these formspring accounts where you can ask the person anything you wish to anonymously. But the attention seeking people who form these accounts just answer stuff stupidly and the people doing it seriously just politely refuse to answer anything personal. What's the point in that? I might as well just ask 'what's your favourite movie' on their facebook page rather than bother to do it on formspring. If you wanted to ask a question to someone you knew anonymously, it'd be because you didn't want them to know it was you and those questions are blatantly going to be personal. /rant.

On the other hand, really enjoying some mellow techno right now. Oh and I was supposed to be meeting a dude earlier but he dumped our appointment to do his laundry ready for work tomorrow...

It's official, guys would rather spend time with their wet socks than with me... :D

(note: this isn't seeking pity just a laugh on my behalf.)

Over & out.

25th January 2011, 03:04 AM
Perhaps your Suzuka art for the avatar? I gave my room a good tidy, though I'm going to go over it again tonight (seeing as I'm doing an all-nighter again) just to make sure it's all good for the room inspection. :D I was thinking of making a "post your room" topic, so I'll do that soon and maybe you can post some pics of your now-very-tidy flat.

I've never heard of formspring, but it's making me think of an anonymous version of Yahoo! Answers. But yeah, that is pretty dumb. I find the internet in general is pretty useless for advice. Talking to a friend about it is the way to go, so long as they're willing to listen which is quite the virtue. Heh, the way you phrase what you wrote about the guy makes it sound like a date. Date? Appointment? Pfft. :P I hope you sort things out with your dude soon!

25th January 2011, 03:09 AM
GAH hahaha get the hell out my journal you pitying freak.... hardly a date to be honest.

Nah that Suzuka drawing is too pants!!! I need something cooool.

Room pic thread sounds awesome! I love seeing other peoples desks, it's so fascinating for some reason I cannot explain.

And formspring is more like, you make an account and people know who you are and they ask you anonymous random questions. People keep linking them off their facebook. Gyah it's so lame;

What's your favourite food?
"UH, spaghetti."

Item Received
To: Katey
Katey has sent you the item Spaca-Cola.

What... what is this?!

25th January 2011, 04:06 AM
I liked it! I wish I could draw. :[ Ah, fair enough. You're not an escort are you? (Just kidding—my humour is a bit dry if you haven't noticed already.) Loving the Jim avatar as I've said already. You can tell he's both loving the food and is pissed off at Gene for spending the money in the first place.

Yeah, that does sound rather annoying. -_- I've had enough of annoying requests/posts from others on Facebook. I hope that doesn't become a part of it too. As for the Spaca-Cola, we've discussed this, but for everyone else, I sent the item to Katey but the system is bugged and it says she sent it to herself! I'll get this fixed ASAP.

So today I can't help but think about what to do for my 21st, which is very soon!

I really wanted to go zorbing!

Woo looks totally awesome, but it's not open till March! Really sucks being born in boring ole winter. I'm so bummed about this because I think it's totally down my street. I'm gonna have to do it in the summer regardless, I reckon. It's not TOO extreme but still something that's gonna make me laugh a ton.

I don't have a large group of mates so I can't do anything heavily friends orientated. I considered a day trip to Paris with my mum, cause I love lil trips like that and we have an awesome time.

But I think I really wanna do something a bit more adventurous. I'm thinking a bungee jump... although I'm kinda terrified of that at the same time haha. But it would be cool to say, for my 21st I went bungee jumping and it was awesome.

That or/AND(!) go paintballing. Something I've never ever done and I think I'd actually really enjoy. I might be able to do this with my sister or one of my close mates. I've been told it hurts when you get hit though, eep!

Does anyone else have any other suggestions? Or has anyone done any of the following and would recommend it? I considered some driving experiences too but tbh, I'm not a natural at driving and the thought kind of terrifies me.

Seriously, nothing's more fun than sprawling out in wet mud, taking potshots at a fat guy stuck in a van. Well, except joining the armed forces and taking potshots at militants stuck on camels or something, but that can also be life-threatening, and that's not really all so fun when you take that sort of risk into consideration.

Anyway, paintball. Yes, do it. Just don't take the ****ing mask off, else you'll end up like that kid that I did NOT shoot in the face*. I've been (on average) once every year since 1999, and it never gets old. Of course the big downside to paintball is that you WILL get filthy, and by the end of the day smell of chemicals and ****. But then that's what home showers are for.

If you want to really enjoy it, go with at least a couple of friends, but keep your group small-ish. It's more fun when there are 3-5 of you, and the chances of being separated and put in different sets are smaller.

As for bungee jumping, I won't deny it's a lot of fun to free-fall for those few seconds like that, but it's over in literally no time at all and costs an absolute ****ing bomb. Then there's the waiting around for your turn, although the plus side of this is seeing the cowards come back down the lift and take the walk of shame out of the area and back home, where they slit their wrists or (in some sort of ironic twist) hurl themselves off a building.

Been off-roading too, it's nothing to be terrified of and is actually fun stuff. They allow unlicensed drivers for a reason; nothing can go so utterly wrong that you pull a Rik Mayall/Ozzy Osbourne and somehow find yourself under a quad-bike. At worst you'll get a jeep spraying water all over the place while spazzing the steering wheel around trying to find somewhere to get grip.

*I shot him in the nuts through the gap in a pair of barrels (pure fluke), causing him to stand up and get shot in the face by someone behind me. THEN he took his mask off... and got shot in the face again by someone else. His scream lives with me to this day, and it makes me laugh. What a moron.

27th January 2011, 10:06 AM
Excited about paint balling now, thanks Baron! It's gonna be me, my sister, brother-in-law and guess what, my mum! haha

Unfortunately doesn't look like I can do a bungee jump on my actual birthday cause it seems you can't book it untill you've bought a dumb voucher and recieved it in the post. Then trying to find a jump that's near me as well... so retarded! Some people wanna jump on their actual birthdays yo!

27th January 2011, 02:16 PM
You'll have your chance one day Katey, fear not.
Gotta wonder though.
Who was the first person to have the bright idea to leap off a ledge with nothing more than a cord attached to their person?
And were they brave, or just plain crazy?

27th January 2011, 02:20 PM
I chuckled at Baron's description of the poor sod who got shot in the nuts and the face.

2nd February 2011, 06:21 AM
So I've finally slept at a reasonable hour and have got up at 6am. Everything looking good so far. I am so incredibly hungry thoughand I don't have any food that's just quick to eat so I am cooking spaghetii bolagnaise (quorn...) for breakfast! Call me crazy but there's not many options right now anyway.

Today will be a day of doing lots of Uni work, I've finally figured out what I need to do to catch up and be awesome. By making a little list of everything and doing loads of brainstorms I've figured it all out. Now to stick on some animes and do all my drawing/model making and research. It's really awesome being able to watch stuff in the background while doing my work. Although it can lead me to missing crucial parts in the anime, so it's best I watch something a little light hearted.

I've got my massive list of anime that I need to watch but if anyone has any suggestions of easy to watch in the background kind of series that would be awesome. Been watching a lot of Lucky Star from someones recommendation. At first I wasn't too sure about it but I am enjoying it now, it's great to have on cause you don't have to look at the screen as it's all talking.

So yeah, gym tonight, no more eating crisps (I've been a bad girl the last week) and back to real regime! Let's go!

2nd February 2011, 07:35 AM
Crazy? I eat dinner at breakfast and breakfast at dinner. XD It's not crazy to me, anyway. Good luck with the catching up. Got ****loads to do myself (even working all day I'd still be behind) and I hope I can do it half-asleep. Making lists is always a good way to go about it, else a number of big tasks can be pretty overwhelming I guess. O_o

Angel Links would probably work for a background anime, since it's pretty average anyway. Fred Luo appears! For about five seconds! His fabulous cameo doesn't quite save it as it is very much average but I'd say it's worth watching for an Outlaw Star fan. Have fun at the gym!

2nd February 2011, 07:20 PM
Sounds like you've got a fun day ahead of you! If you're looking for another anime that's really easy to watch in the background then you can try Azumanga Daioh. It's just like Lucky Star in that, it's one of those slice of life animes about a bunch of highschool girls that just talk about random stuff. Yeah and there's no story plot (also like lucky star).

6th February 2011, 09:09 PM
Hey, I hope your birthday celebrations were cool, whatever you did. Oh yeah...

Happy Birthday! :)

6th February 2011, 10:03 PM
Ja, Alles Gute zum Geburtstag und das.
