    Are Blu-rays going away?

I know DVD's are still somewhat relevant to a select group but I think over all, blu-rays and all discs are being done away with. I think this is in favor of streaming hosts like Netflix and Hulu. If they were to get ride of all discs, what alternative do you think they will come up with for physically buying movies or tv show seasons in store? I code to download to your TV? Maybe a micro USB?

I think streaming services will be the future. The need to download or physically own the media would not be that relevant. There will still be a market for them I guess.

Having the ability to access videos from anywhere, anytime, in-demand are tough features to beat, and I'm sure we'll see more cloud-computing based software and websites in the near future.

I can't say for sure, because I don't own any Blu-Rays myself. I have mostly DVDs and VHS tapes as well as CDs, cassette tapes, and vinyl records. And I plan to stick with these things for as long as I can play them.
