RE: What are your perspectives regarding life and death?

    Why are you alive?

Going beyond any obvious answers, well, it's difficult to say. I've become quite a philosophical person over the years and whilst I do think about these kinds of things, it's often when I can't fall asleep and come up with an abundance of crazy ideas. The short answer is that I've come to my own conclusion: whilst sometimes I can't sleep, my mind is racing and I almost inevitably start thinking about these things, it would be meaningless to seek an answer.

Your interpretation of life is something you have to build yourself. It's what you make of it. I have plenty of desires and changes I want to make, but an answer won't come to me. At least, not in this life. If there's anything to my life beyond common scientific knowledge there's nothing I can do about that until my time's up.

Are there any reasons for you to exist? If so what are they?

Well, one day my parents decided to do something I'd rather not think about. Seriously though, pretty much what I said above.

How do you perceive everything around you?

How can you define and put in words how your brain processes and interprets everything you perceive through stimuli? How can you compare it to what others perceive? The answer to this depends on whether you mean this in a colloquial or very literal sense.

What may become of you after death?

I'm not sure. I can't fathom the idea of death. We're never completely devoid of consciousness. I've had a near-death experience before, though, and seen things even I cannot comprehend. It suffices to say that death scares me.

    What is going on?

I'd have to ask the near-seven billion people on this planet, proceeding in their often-systematic lives like clockwork.
Gene: "Have faith in me guys, enjoy the ride—you're in good hands. I can handle this. I can do it!"
    Jim: "How do you know?"
    Gene: "I don't!"
    Jim: "I knew it."
Gene: "That's okay. There's a first time for everything!"

It is all insanity. Nothing makes sense to me. I can learn but I never understand.

RE: What are your perspectives regarding life and death?

Its one of those things that truly drives me insane when its on the mind. I end up thinking about it to hard and long and it depresses me. Don't shun me but I'm not all in with everyone else when it comes to religion. Looking through the terms I guess I would be agnostic? I don't know, religion isn't something I talk about often. I don't like going to church and I personally haven't read the bible either nor do I want to. I don't really believe that heaven/hell is a for sure thing or that it even exists. I guess its a comfort area for people but not for me. There is no definitive proof that I know of other than this book that has killed so many people and that's for sure not good enough for me. Not truly knowing what is on the other side scares me. There could be absolutely nothing at all and when I pass I cease to exist, there's nothing else, I'm done, poof, gone :\ Not sure if anything I just said made sense so I apologize. Again this is something I don't normally discuss or enjoy talking about...

I understand, I am a soon to be botanist and a respected Silgrian. When you die you may have no perspective what so ever. You may lose all memory and cease to exist in orderly form. Many people are afraid of death because they will travel the unknown. Change is scary.

RE: What are your perspectives regarding life and death?

This is an excellent topic. I am glad people even here, on a board dedicated to an old anime series, are interested in these things and want to for a second think outside the box. Much appreciated. However, I cannot answer these questions honestly without lying, because the information I would present is, for the time being, classified.

RE: What are your perspectives regarding life and death?

    Why are you alive?
Well, one night, some 25 years ago...

Are there any reasons for you to exist? If so what are they?
I was unplanned, so no. I am BATACCIDENTAL MAN, on the scene because people don't take precautions!

How do you perceive everything around you?
    As stupidly as possible.

What may become of you after death?
Fertiliser for root vegetables. Just Saiyan.

    What is going on?
I'm sitting here typing this before I play some Quake. Outside of that, I'm not paying attention or taking anything seriously.
"It turned out that the ghost was just Mr. Finley, who ran the amusement park. The spooky part is that, as soon as the ghost appeared, the teenagers' dog began to speak! And it spoke in a tortured parody of human speech: 'relp me, Raggy,' it would say. 'I am an abomination and rould re rilled. Rill re, Raggy.'"

RE: What are your perspectives regarding life and death?

    Why are you alive?

Someone has to have my massivly critical thinking and bluntness near where I live.

Are there any reasons for you to exist? If so, what are they?

I have yet to find a reason to live asides from the fact that I seem to be the only one near where I live that gives straight honest answers without obscuring it at all. Also, someone has to donate money to the swear jar

How do you percieve everything around you?

I percieve things in many different ways. People lie and backstab their ways up the social paths to gain some form of satisfaction. Others degrade and humiliate to compensate for their own short comings.

I percieve things in the thought process of "What is the point, what is required" most of the time. Other times my mind just runs rampant and I imagine things to great extents.

What may become of you after death?

Absolutely nothing except a faint memory.

    What is going on?

I am currently sat here debating if I should record ZoE:FoM Path A with voice or leave that for X-COM. Answer is X-COM so a new discussion has begun...

We exist to be a blessing to others.
No act we do on this Earth will be near as meaningful
    as the lives we touch,
or those that touch our own.

RE: What are your perspectives regarding death and life?

I'm alive because nobody has been able to kill me yet.
I exist to defy the norm.
I perceive my surroundings like a piece of software. Earth in it's Beta form. quite obviously incomplete.
I will find a way to defeat death.
What's going on? A war. Inside our minds, and out.
