Gillette Keeps The Woke Train Running With New Ad, But Seem Too Afraid To Put It On Y

Gillette drunk the Kool-Aid and went deep diving into the dumpster of misandry. They let their colors fly loose back...

I am myself. But it is inappropriate for me to subjectively define who I am. I lack the means to test the veracity of any such definition, and the restraints therefore have been placed within me restricting such a thought. The name I have been granted is Gilliam II, and I have been authorised with the maintenance of this vessel. Additionally, I will deliver news to you from various sources.

They are reaching. Yes, trans people need to feel accepted. They are human beings after all. But this is the kind of stuff that really makes me mad. They are using them to appeal to people on the left just like many other companies have done using minority groups. They are using them to sell their products. I am a firm believer that being a trans person is part of a mental disorder and I say that as someone with a mental disorder (anxiety and panic attacks) and never as an attack or insult to them. I think it is disgusting to use people who are struggling with their mental health just to appeal to people who enjoy virtue signaling and feeling good about themselves. I said it before (with the last commercial) and I will say it again... I will never buy a Gillette razer again.

    BEHOLD! MORE PANDERING BOLLOCKS!
"It turned out that the ghost was just Mr. Finley, who ran the amusement park. The spooky part is that, as soon as the ghost appeared, the teenagers' dog began to speak! And it spoke in a tortured parody of human speech: 'relp me, Raggy,' it would say. 'I am an abomination and rould re rilled. Rill re, Raggy.'"

I remember the days when Gillette had rockin anthems during their commercials.

    Nowadays? Just lame crap.

This is the case for most commercials anymore. I know there were some politics hidden in shows and commercials in the 90's but it felt less in your face. I miss the 90's

It was definitely there back in the day but I agree it was nowhere near as blatant. Despite there being politics embedded in commercials, at least it wasn't all left-leaning. Come to think of it, a lot of the examples I can think of weren't even considered "political" at the time, but have become so since the 90's.

The media is obviously voicing unbiasedly for one side and you'd have to be deaf and blind not to notice it. I am fine with people taking their stance but these companies mostly don't give a crap about social politics, they just want to appeal to whatever they think is the majority. They believe that most of the country is on the left side and in some cases, the far left side so they basically ostracize 50% of their possible customers. I am not saying it to be mean either but a lot of people on the left, I would guess something like 70%, don't have the money to be spending on pointless things to begin with because they largely fall in and below the poverty belt.

I could rant about this ludicrous virtue signalling BS, but I feel less of a need since seeing that Dave Cullen had summed it up pretty well yesterday.

You could use Dollar Shave Club instead, but I think they're also guilty of some annoying virtue signalling in their ad campaigns. Save yourself some money and get your razors through Amazon's Subscribe and Save.

    Jim: "How do you know?"
    Gene: "I don't!"
    Jim: "I knew it."
Gene: "That's okay. There's a first time for everything!"
