    Thoughts on the Neuralink?

I am both fascinated and worried about this.

If you haven't heard the latest news, Elon Musk is working on his "Neuralink" project where he used a monkey to mentally play a video game. I believe it was just that pong game with the ball but still really impressive. What worries me is what he has said recently... He said they can begin testing this on human brains this year.

What I like is that this can help people who are paralyzed and those with Alzheimer's... What I don't like is that this can easily be used as a weapon against people.

    What are your thoughts?

I saw Tim Pool talking about this today. Seems like really cool technology, but I'm concerned about safety. If it allows paralyzed people to walk again or improves other health complications then I'm all for it, but voluntarily plugging that into my head will be a no-go until a few million other people test pilot it for me. Even then, a single security breach (like the recent chastity cage hack or pacemaker hacks from a few years ago) would be catastrophic.

That is where I heard about it. I listen to his podcasts the day after they air in the AM while I am doing stuff around the house. It is nuts. Like I like that it can help people but his work can be used against people very easily.

    Sometime in the near future...

"You seriously got one of those Neuralinks put into your brain?"

"Yeah, now I can browse Reddit with the power of my mind!"

"Your free trial of Reddit Premium has expired. Now injecting acid into spine."
A boy has the right to dream. There are endless possibilities stretched out before him....

I laughed but holy cow would that be scary. Imagine posting a meme on Twitter that the establishment doesn't agree with and they shock your brain so you piss your pants in public. lol
