    Is Twitter Politically Biased?

It seems to be the case the more and more people I am seeing get banned off there.

Granted, some of them deserved it but many do not given the amount of horrible things others say and do not get banned for.

The bias I am talking about is one of being in favor of "left leaning" people and against "right leaning" people. I noticed they will allow people to label anyone who is remotely conservative a racist, bigot, nazi, and all kinds of colorful names. This is completely okay even though it can ruin a person's career or image. I just don't get it.

It is as if children are running this place. If something is not okay, then let it be not okay evenly across the board or don't bother having rules at all.

As for the leaning and censoring itself i don't care.
Anything can hide behind your words, even if honest.
And since i don't waste my time there i can't judge.
    Never overestimate mankind.

Yes and no. Yes because of their banning various right-wing users. No because most of their decisions are probably business-oriented, a lot of their staff could well be conservative and political correctness is profitable these days.

I understand your feelings, though. Unfortunately we've just gotta live with this. While businesses like Twitter are a large part of the problem by enabling these behaviours, when it all comes down to it like many things in life it's about money. By resisting these childish leftists they'll lose more customers. It's social media after all; the liberal playground.

    Jim: "How do you know?"
    Gene: "I don't!"
    Jim: "I knew it."
Gene: "That's okay. There's a first time for everything!"

It seems like even if they do or don't agree with any of this, they still push it because most people in the media are pushing for a PC environment in all aspects of life, including interactions online. It isn't right for racism or sexism to happen but it does and labeling everything as these things isn't helping the problem, it is making it worse. The more they push on social media in a biased way, the more they push people to become things like white nationalists and those MGTOW guys. They are making the problems they seem to want to get rid of larger and more pronounced, online anyways.

Twitter is controlled by Communist Reptilians, confirmed.

For real though to answer your question, the platform is heavily biased but as Mantis points out I can understand why. They believe (incorrectly) that being extra-ultra-politically correct will make them more money....and in some cases maybe that does make more advertisers interested in their platform. That being said, there is often a negative correlation with businesses ramping up their PC culture and profits. Get woke, go broke as they say. It has been happening a lot in trading card games, Western comics, movies, etc.
If you go hella far to the right or left the best you can hope for is an audience of maybe 50% in a perfect world, right? I wish they'd stay in the middle and not moderate so much but people get too upset seeing opposing opinions online to keep using the site maybe.

Long story short, I don't use Twitter either. I have an account but I login like once per year to look at Korean racing models.
