    Vox Adpocalypse

So if you follow anyone on YouTube who comments on politics be it left, right or center... You will likely know what is going on. Apparently, Crowder who is a well known right-wing comedian was called out by a Vox writer/YouTuber for his tee shirt which reads "Socialism is for figs". A lot of people I follow have commented on this. Some of the videos are below:

I think I have stated that I am a conservative on here before. I tend to follow people in the center be it left or right leaning because of the mess of the media. I feel I can relate to these people the most.

With that being said... What are your thoughts on what is going on?

Should YouTube have punished everyone over one guy's hurt feelings? Were they planning on doing this anyway?

Some are saying Vox did this on purpose to try to save the company and as of now, a large percentage of their workers are on strike demanding more pay and better benefits. The company is going down fast and to me... This just smells like a push to bring in money on their part.

I guess this is getting worse now. Someone who has nothing to do with "the right" is being labeled as a white supremacist in a New York Times article.

I feel like it is only a matter of time before everyone who is right of Ellen will be demonetized on YouTube.

    By Youtube or on Youtube?
Youtube users and people on the net are overall more right leaning as far as Im concerned.

I don't think most people online are on the right but rather in the center. That is the issue. If you are not on the right or left, the far left will shove you to the right and declare you are a racist or something else.

I heard about this most recent wave of demonetization (i guess this is roughly wave 3 or so of the "AD-pocalypse"?), but it's getting so common now that I didn't look at it. Is it just me, or are Tim Pool's video titles so accurate that you don't really need to watch the videos? lol

Vox is in its death throes and unless George Soros or some other lefty media outlet bails them out, they're just thrashing and taking their 'enemy' down with them, so to speak. Massive layoffs and character assassinations don't speak well for the future of that company. That's just the problem...they're a "company" whereas a lot of these right-wingers they love to crush are just dudes in a bedroom somewhere. A good number of them aren't gonna shut up just because they were demonetized. It isn't their primary job or source of income.

Only time will tell if Vox's strategy has an effect.

What is sad is Soros already bailed them out, and not that long ago yet they have people on strike demanding more money. Where is all this money that Soros gave them going?

While some of them are just giving opinions and don't need the money, some do like Crowder and Pool. Both do it as a living. I know both guys do take in donations but if that is stripped away from them like it was for the Proud Boys, they will be screwed.

Whether their ideas or opinions are right or wrong, when you punish them you are punishing anyone they support. This means wives, husbands, children, etc.

I don't agree with a lot the left says but I would never advocate to silence them, ever. They have the freedom and the God-given right of speech is theirs. No one should be able to take that from anyone.

    Wow. Solid discussion.

Um I think there is a bit cross information. See links below.

    My two cents:

Vox should not be attacking a private business (conservative right comedian) based on their content. That is just plain bullying an intimidation. This tactic is a massive push to eliminate content competition and allow certain key organizations become a cartel, or oligarchy.

Is that all? I do not think so.

I commented on Crowders video (LINK: YouTube). My comment was:

"First is Alex Jones. Now it is everyone."

Since of my typing this note, on Friday June 14, 2019, YouTube terminated the channel BlackPigeonSpeaks for appx 12 hours. This is a movement to control and limit alternative creators from distributing their content.

More and more channels will be demonitized, videos will be banned, channels will become restricted, and channels will be shutdown.

Crowder is actually in a far better place. He's gained at least 60K new subscribers since this whole thing went down, and has many more people in his "mug club", which I think is more or less his patreon.
The sad thing is, because one person doesn't like being made fun of, a lot of small channels were terminated. Crowder wasn't banned, but many MANY smaller channels were, and they rely heavily on youtube for money.
