    Changing Forum Avatars

Most of you have been here for long enough to notice that my forum avatar changes every few months, but I've never seen anyone else's change. This is a habit I've always had, I really enjoy changing my avatar on forums. i don't care about cosmetic items in video games or how I dress in the real world, but on forums I love to keep my avatar fresh.

Do you guys keep yours the same because you think that makes your posts easier to identify, you've grown attached to your current avatar, or you just don't even think about it? I think this current one is my 4th in a year and a half on this site.

I stopped using Avatars several years ago, because I cant find anything I can associate myself with.
If I would have one I would keep it the same so it can become something like a signature.

I haven't changed mine here, but I do on other forums, and on discord.
I usually keep an anime theme based on anime I'm currently watching/just finished watching. Right now, that's given.
As for discord, I keep it anime themed, and change it for holidays and such.
I might change mine here, but it's something I commissioned from dA, and I adore that little drawing to bits.

I don't change much because i like having my ID, both alias and image.
Once i found a name and picture i like, i'm deciding "ok, this'll be me", and that's pretty much it.
Not that i never change, avatars get old like anything else.

As basic as it is, I made my avatar which I guess did produce an attachment. It's based on a Gene Starwind pose from one of the openings which I always found cool. You can see the exact same pose from the forum index. It's the forum image for Member of the Month.

Oh yeah, I've had it for over a decade. I like your idea of changing it every few months but it's far too late now!

I tend to find one I like and just stick with it. I tend to view people based on their avatars so when someone changes it all the time, I find it annoying. I know some people on other forums who change it several times a week. That is what annoys me. I might eventually change mine here but I am used to it so I likely won't. I tend to use Korin for most of my avatars, or Meowth. It shows I like cats and anime.

I did have an avatar of the doomslayer from Doom 2016 when I first registered here but I switched it to the avatar that I use now just to show that I'm a fan of the franchise in general and not just the 2016 game. I have thought about changing it but I'm too lazy to find a new avatar. Besides, this one suits me just fine.

I decided to change my Avatar and Signature theme, prompted by this thread, and partly because I wanted to use Kuruko from Kuruko's Basketball, because I love that anime, and I don't think I've ever used him as a theme anywhere.

I was more than happy with the weightlifting Aisha avatar choice available here. It's my daily inspiration seeing that to do at least one thing physical! I'm not really active in any other forums (or even passive for that matter....only other place I lurk is reddit), so I've haven't had to put any thought into avatar related stuff since I was younger. I'd probably only ever change mine if I came across something that really caught my eye.
