    The mighty "U."

Took me this long to notice.
"Favourite Anime" (on the profile pages)
    "Colour" (elsewhere)

Here in America we don't take kindly the letter "U".
It just doesn't fit our humor.

    RE: The might "U."

I'm guessing it took you this long to notice the "UK" in the website's title, too! I pronounce "color" similarly to how I pronounce "colon". I guess it sounds like "cola", then. And cola/colon both insinuate a distinctive brown, a bit like US English...

You may not have realised lately, but your fellow Americans (i.e. North Americans) situated in Canada also often speak UK English. In addition to this, I've come to the understanding that most non-natives are taught UK English in their countries since it's seen as proper. So, it's fine if you don't like it "around here" since many of us will never (or very irregularly) visit the United States.

I declare these forums as UK territory, so accept it. XD The only time I conformed to US English was renaming Inn Towards the Stars (predominantly UK English) to Inn Toward the Stars (and any references to the Toward Stars Universe) merely because that's how it is written in Outlaw Star, and I think it's important at least for proper nouns to retain their original names.

    p.s. Didn't you mean "the mighty U"?
Gene: "Have faith in me guys, enjoy the ride—you're in good hands. I can handle this. I can do it!"
    Jim: "How do you know?"
    Gene: "I don't!"
    Jim: "I knew it."
Gene: "That's okay. There's a first time for everything!"

    Ah, so I did.

    Nothing against it mind you.
    It just amuses me.
    Dissimilarities are fun.

    I don't trust the Canadians...
