    RE: Passions

Do I really need to answer it? Well, aside from what you could all guess, hmm. I'd like to say I'm passionate about learning 3D and other aspects of game design, but that flame died out when other things came into my life. It's still something I really want to do. I just need to work up the motivation to devote a lot of hours into it; something that isn't easy when I'm juggling things I want to do with my actual life, learning all this stuff, and managing this site and other projects. There still isn't an excuse though. I do have the time regardless.

Right now, aside from this community and Outlaw Star itself, I'm not sure what I can say I'm truly passionate about with full honesty. I want to become passionate about travelling, once I become financially able to be. Although there's no reason why I can't explore more areas of England, aside from the travel costs. Just laziness and my probably-delusional perception of much of England being boring.

    RE: Passions

I'm very passionate about music. Both listening and creating. I can come off as a bit stuck up to the casual listener. Although I do like a wide variety of music, the truth is, I am very picky about what I listen to. I'm not an "Anti-Conformist", I just happen to think that most popular music is absolute crap, with a couple of exceptions. My main genre is Hip-Hop, which as you probably know, has been mutilated beyond recognition since it's mainstream popularity. That's why I like to listen to artists that are considered "Underground". Their beats are more simplistic, putting the main focus on the rapper, or as we say in the streets, the "MC". The lyrics tend to be more relevant, and generally more skillful. Rather than rapping about how much money they have, It's more common to hear Social and political commentary, or more personal, "Poetic" songs, since they don't have expensive cars, and aren't surrounded by women. I don't know how to explain my love for creating music, though. It's not something I can easily put into words. I kind just.. "do it". It's almost like an impulse now.

Helix: I suppose you're right, although until I create a legendary project it'll be more of a desire than anything. I'm sure that once I do, continuing such work will be a lifelong passion.

    RE: Passions

I saw the title of this topic and absolutely laughed my balls off.

For the clueless here, 'Passions' was an absolutely dreadful soap opera on US TV back in 1999, yet it somehow went on until late 2007. It was badly-written, badly-acted, and generally just one big laughable example of how NOT to make a good TV show.
"It turned out that the ghost was just Mr. Finley, who ran the amusement park. The spooky part is that, as soon as the ghost appeared, the teenagers' dog began to speak! And it spoke in a tortured parody of human speech: 'relp me, Raggy,' it would say. 'I am an abomination and rould re rilled. Rill re, Raggy.'"

    Lol Dymus.

I'm passionate about our mutual fandom, obviously.

    However!

My other true passion is knives.

Lots of artistry and tradition involved in those little things.
Got a pretty sweet collection of...50+(I think anyway) sharp things.
