    Are you an animal person?

I grew up having animals in the house. Gerbils, hamsters, fish, birds, dogs, and I took in a cat around 7 years old I think I was. I find it hard to be in a home that doesn't have some sort of animal in it. I know it sounds silly but I feel like a dog or cat, even a smaller creature brings warmth and a lived-in feel to any home. I personally can't be without pets at this point. I will always have at least 2 cats, even into my old and wrinkly years.

Are you an animal person that needs to have some kind of animal companionship or are you okay without one? Do you prefer not to have any pets at all?

    Nope. No animals.

I had a fish that died on me. I had no idea how to care for a fish.

Plus the tap water has fluorine in it and has O2 and so the fish goes through the O2 contents very fast.

I had a crawfish, but sister accidentally killed it. Left it in tubbaware too long

It would probably be more accurate to just call me a cat person. I like some dogs but the small yappy ones tend to get on my nerves. There's been a few cats in my life and I always take good care of them. Great pets to have. Goldfish aside I haven't had other pets. Similarly I'd probably find it difficult to go without a pet. Owning a cat isn't entirely easy but it's definitely worth it.

My boy's six years old now. As a house cat he should be around at least as long as my two childhood cats. They were outdoor cats but died at a ripe old age. (Living in a mostly quiet suburb probably helped this.)

I'm a staunch dog-person. I grew up alongside a Pug we got when I was 5, he was with us at least through my first year of college (God bless)! Around 2011/2012 we got a Borkie (Beagle/Yorkie) puppy, he just turned 9 years old but he looks like he'll live forever. Still a total spaz, thank goodness he is my Mom & sister's dog and doesn't live with me. My wife and I currently have a 1.5 year-old Labradoodle (Labrador/Poodle).

Here's good old Pugsley eating Cheetos:

I grew up with a cat from day one. Had a ferret, some other cats and dogs. I've only been without animals for the five or so years I lived by myself. I didn't care for it. Lost my buddy boy before the summer started and that's still hanging hard over my head.

My cat Banshee I had since I was a kid passed away a few years ago and I was pretty upset at the time. That's the whole reason I adopted another sweet little kitty which I named Carmen.

My mum has two westies, lovely little dogs. Do miss them being away from home.

My brother-in-law's wife is obsessed with animals. They have two boxer dogs, two rabbits, two guinea pigs, and a lizard of some type but I cannot remember what.
