Why aren't more people trying to earn a living online?

There is enough space and opportunity to do so. I myself have been earning online for several years now through different outlets. If I can do it with basic knowledge, I think most people can with a little time and learning. It makes me wonder why more people are not trying to make a living online. I am not saying it is easy by any means and it takes a lot of time and work to start off with things but there are so many options now. I mean if you are an attractive female, you can wear lingerie and make like $10k a month through OnlyFans. That is INSANE!!

We have so many various opportunities online to make good or even great money, so why aren't more people exploring these options?

People always complain about their 9-5 jobs they are unhappy in but seldom try to go at it alone.

Due to the pandemic, I'm sure that many people are now trying to do so for the first time. People also seem to have realised that in this day and age, you don't have to be stuck to the old grind of the 9-5.

I'm a freelancer myself, and to touch on something you mentioned it can be quite tough to get started for many. I think many people assume that making money online is easy but it really isn't. You have to put a lot of preparation and work in if you're going to stand a chance.

In my case, I quit my day job just before the pandemic really hit, partly because I had hit a roadblock in my career and also because the office environment can sometimes be annoying to work in. Fortunately, I had savings so I was prepared for this, but it took me almost a year of studying and trying numerous things before I found success and actually started earning decent money.

Would recommend it to others also, but it's really not as simple as it seems and that you do need to put the work in.

There's definitely going to be a significant increase in online employment. (Pretty sure there already is, actually.) It's something I'm interested in too. Maaaybe it won't be through an OnlyFans though.

It ain't easy. Whatever you think of, there's always plenty of competition, often from people in developing countries who make good money from doing the work at a price that's below minimum wage in your economy.
