    Post The Beverage Thread

So I was looking at the hitory of this particular boad and saw a Coke vs. Pepsi thread but I figured we could talk about drinks in general here. It could be alcoholic, non-alcoholic or if you just drink plain-jane water, that's fine too. Any beverage discussion is welcome here.

Non-alchol wise, I drink Pepsi now and then, which is funny because I used to be a big Coke drinker back when I was little. Now that they've brought it back, I also have been drinking Surge occasionally. I used to love it back in the day so itt's nice that it made a comeback.

Alcohol wise, I stick to hard ciders. My go to is Woodchuck which is good stuff. Another one that I love is, and they don't seem to sell it anymore at least in my neck of the woods, is Cider Boys madbark, which is a apple and cinnamon cide that is absolutly delicious. It goes down so smooth and has a great flavor to it. I also drink mead sometimes but that's usually when I have a get together with some of my friends.

Soda wise, Dr. Pepper is the only one I drink anymore. I'm the only one in my house that drinks soda anymore, so that's all I buy. I love Dr. Pepper. Best drink ever. Period. Lol.
I also liked V8 Splash drinks, and like the Rasberrt Lemonade and Tropical flavors best.

As food alcoholic drinks, I'm more of a hard cider/lemonade kind of guy, too, but I like Yeungling and Mexican beer called Victoria, which I can only find at a local Mexican restaurant.

I think I'm more of a Pepsi guy, too. It has a certain 'zest' that I don't really get out of Coke, Coke is honestly kind of plain. Dr. Pepper is fantastic though, I would happily take it over just about every other softdrink, apart from one... which is Fanta Fruit Twist. I'm so glad they're making zero sugar versions of it now, I can drink as much of it as I want without feeling guilty.

I tried Mountain Dew for the first time the other week. It was alright, but I probably wouldn't go through the trouble of importing it.

I don't drink a lot of alcohol, but when I do I tend to favor something sweet like pear cider, or a nice fruity cocktail. I usually only ask for one thing when it's my birthday, and that's Carribbean Twist. This stuff is delicious.

Sometimes I'm in a Coke mood, sometimes Pepsi. Overall though I'd say I like Pepsi more. I think it feels smoother, whereas Coke is bitterer, perhaps even fizzier? I'm glad there are more here who appreciate the greatness of Dr Pepper. It truly is an intellectual beverage, and only the chosen will recognise its superiority to cola. Every now and then I enjoy an energy drink. Right now actually I'm drinking a Rockstar, the "Punched" guava flavour. It's pretty good stuff, but for medical reasons I'm trying to take it easy with the caffeine so I only have these as a treat.

Alcohol? A couple of you know that if I'm going to have a drink, it's going to have to be a large shot of vodka. I hate the taste of alcohol so I might as well get it over and done with if I'm going to bother with the stuff. Plus, getting drunk is no easy feat for me, so it's an economic reason too.

IMO Root Beer and Cream Soda are the best beverages on the planet. I also enjoy the occasional coke or pepsi, but I think I prefer coke. Also an honorable mention to milk and water.

Cream soda's great. The company that makes Irn-Bru also makes their own cream soda which I enjoy every once in a while.

Nothing wrong with milk and water, especially the latter. I honetly could use more water in my diet. I drink a lot of Diet Pepsi, but I feel I should be drinking less of it. I never had cream soda but that stuff you posted looks good! I might have to see if I can get my hands on some. Say Mantis, I think trying hard cider would be a good alternative to the other alcoholic drinks. I actually don't like most of them myself but with hard cider there's an actual flavor to them at least so I think it would be worth trying at least.

Cream soda is amazing, it's been way too long since I had that stuff. And I think rat meant seperately. Milk is delicious, so I can't disagree. And hey, if you're looking to get buzzed on the cheap, there's always...

I like a lot of drinks. I spent most of today drinking water and juice, plus some diet coke (we only drink diet soda at my place). I also like tea and coffee, though I prefer cold because I burn my mouth way too often. Milk is also nice.

I like mixing drinks too. A common example is mixing some cranberry juice into my soda. I like adding fruit to things in general. Best way to have hot tea for me is mint tea with lemon juice, honey and frozen blueberries. It cools off the tea, and makes a tasty snack at the end!

Cream soda!!! I haven't had it in ages, and it's getting hard to find nowadays. When I was just a kid (like 7 years old), I played at my neighbor's house almost daily. A common memory is that his mom would give us cream soda while we were in a dead heat match of mancala. They had a few flavors I think, Dr. Brown's. I think I drank either original or creamy root beer, I'm not sure. All I know is I loved going next door for a can anytime.
