If you could bring one person back to life...

....who would it be? Someone famous? Or someone from your own life? Any and all answers are relevant, just explain why

And it wouldn't be back to life as in zombie-style, I mean proper second-chance back to life.

Mine would be someone like Van Gogh. I'd love to do a Doctor Who on him and show him how well known he's become!

Jesus Christ, just to know if he was black (some scientists think so) and to ask him to take a seat and answer a few questions.

    No one.
If I think of someone from my family - why only one? If I think of someone famous? Why not a member of my family? And so on...
    So I decided I wouldn't do it.
This is how life works and even in my imagination I let it stay this way.

    "Jesus...was Jewish." -Avenue Q.

That would be interesting. If history could validate the existence of Jesus, that would be one less but very crucial thing to get out of the way. Solving religious problems would do so much good in getting rid of so much intolerance and prejudice in the world we live in, but with so many religions taking different sides and hammering the thought into their followers that their religion is supreme and that other religions (and most likely the people involved) are inferior, it would take forever for that to happen.
A boy has the right to dream. There are endless possibilities stretched out before him. What awaits him down the path he will then have to choose; the boy doesn't always know. At some point the boy then becomes an adult, and learns what he was able to become. Joy and sadness will forever accompany this. He is confronted with a choice; when this happens, does he bid his past farewell in his heart? Once a boy becomes an adult, he can no longer go back to being a boy; the boy is now a man. Only one thing can be said: "A boy has the right to dream.". For those endless possibilities are stretched out before him.

We must remember...all men were once boys.

He existed and this is for sure. What is not certain is if he was really the one he is thought to be. So okay, I can agree, that would be really interesting to bring him to life (although I'm not sure about the result, he IS living, in God.. you know, religion stuff, hard to take in, even harder to explain).

I would really want to say John Lennon... but I think the Beatles song "Let It Be" comes to mind in this case.

Ah, that's what I meant to say. Thanks for the correction.

As for the religious stuff, don't worry about it. I was raised Catholic, so I understand the concept. Whether or not I truly believe is another story for another time...

My fiancÚ would want to bring a dinosaur to life...his reason: 'cause it's a DINOSAUR!

My Dad would be the one I'd bring back to life, so he could meet and hold my kids and tell them stories of when he worked in a bakery. ^-^ I'm not as good at telling his stories.

this is actually a really hard question to answer. if i had to choose anyone, though, it would probably be my grandfather. he died when i was in the first grade, and i don't remember what he was like all that well. it would be fun to meet and talk to him about stuff.
