There is a fine line today when it comes to sharing opinions. Some say they don't share outside their circle because they don't want to offend someone, others say their reputation means more than expressing opinions on things.

I think we have gotten to a point where sharing opinions or even ideas is beyond just caring what people think. There are people out there who will get violent really quickly if they find out you don't agree with them. They become enraged with hatred over the sight of a red hat. You can guess I am speaking of the Antifa types in America but this is an issue everywhere. In the UK, in Canada, Austalia, etc. where people are too afraid to voice their opinions because they can lose their jobs, get attacked, or get doxed online.

I spent a long time caring what people thought, especially when it came to my beliefs. I got over that and realized that no matter what I did or didn't do, people were going to hate me or dislike me for one thing or another. Today though, I feel like I am in the same boat as a lot of other conservatives. I am scared to talk about things dealing with politics. This place is one of very few I feel comfortable enough to talk about it.

Do you think there are more people out there like this today?
I have a feeling there are a lot of people, especially those in the public eye, who suppress their thoughts about what is going on right now.
