Thread: Do you have a color preference?

People tend to ask "what is your favorite color" which is fine, but here I am asking for a preference.

This is being applied to clothing, accessories, and home decor. So in that aspect, or rather those aspects, what would you choose or be most drawn to by in terms of color?

For me, I have always loved black. I love black decor, black clothing, and black shoes. I feel like it is a passive color but in a room full of color, it is bold and beautiful. I love black furniture in a neutral and light room.

Blue. My favourite place has always been the beach, and one day I hope I get to go to a beautiful beach with white sand and a vibrant blue ocean and sky. That would be my answer to typical colour questions, but in terms of the things you mentioned...

My "dress sense" has been almost non-existent for the past several years. I usually wear a combination of black and navy blue. In the distant past I wore various colours. For accessories it varies. As for home decor, I'm a bit weird with that. My living room (with a sofa bed so I can treat it as a bedroom) has two lime green walls and two silver grey walls, which is an odd choice (not sure how I came up with it) but I like it. I suppose I've made other colour choices based on the walls. I chose a white Ikea bookcase to place in front of one of the grey walls.

In my "cinema room" there's three dark(ish) red walls and a silver grey wall, arranged a little like a cinema if you can imagine it. I used a special paint for this grey wall since it was designed to work well with a projector. I ended up using a motorised projector screen anyway. It really does look like you've just walked into a mini cinema with the black reclining sofa. (It wasn't cheap, but I guess you really do get what you pay for since it's just as comfortable and works just as well nearly three years later.)

You remind me of one of my sisters. For some time she was obsessed with black/white decor themes, although probably without as much colour as you described!

I have always loved the look of black next to a bright color. I don't know why. When I was younger, like a teen, my ideal room would have been black, white, and red. My mom wouldn't let me do those colors (lol) so I settled for my general favorite color which is green. One of my favorite combos of colors now is black, white, and lime green with neutral browns. So the accents would be lime green.

Like you with the beach, I have always loved the park so naturally green became my favorite color. In terms of the OP though, it is black and will always be black lol

Red and Blue are my favorite colors. These two colors have a fine touch to my taste of character. The blue one makes me calm and very welcoming. Anytime I'm on a blue color outfit, I tend to be friendly, accommodating and playful. It's make me bond well with people.

Now red oh red, it's my danger color as it's appearance signifies. One you see me on a red dressing, that means that something is up and I need to be on a high alert in order to be able in tackling the situation at hand. Red makes me sharp and swift.

I do appreciate white color but my problem with it is difficulty in washing when it's stained. But it really looks good and appealing when one come out dressed in a while outfit. I makes one look pure not minding if the person is dark from the inside,Lol.

No colors. I only like black and white, and shades of gray. Well, if you insist then I would say sky blue. You know, it's quite relaxing because it reminds me of the sky. Which represents freedom for me or something.

I mostly prefer black and white but I also love other colors. I've got yellow and blue hoodies, although I have more red ones. I also have a bunch of grey sneakers so I guess I also love grey. I used to like purple but along the way I just lost interest. I don't own anything green but that is intentional because I hate green.
