    How do you combat sleepiness?

The past week or so, I will get so tired shortly after waking up. I think this is down to having trouble sleeping well throughout the night. I tend to wake up a lot. I just have been taking naps but because of that, my sleep is very messed up. I end up being awake till 7 or 8 AM which is not good. I need to get back to going to bed no later than 3.

Anyways, how do you combat feeling tired and/or sleepy mid-day?

None of my ideas would be good advice, so I'm not sharing them :V

And it spoke in a tortured parody of human speech: 'relp me, Raggy,' it would say. 'I am an abomination and rould re rilled. Rill re, Raggy.'"

I'm asking myself the opposite right now. I feed myself well (I fall asleep a lot more easily on a full stomach), go to bed at a very reasonable time and yet find myself up at 3AM unable to nod back off.

My sleep pattern doesn't know whether it's coming or going!

Didn't you say you're a real heavyweight drinker? Expensive pastime.

Well yeah, maybe even super-heavyweight with my shit habits but even then I'd at least expect something after so many and such a long time being awake.

Just sat around like a cunt until 8AM. Then woke up at 11AM.

I have had that issue before as well. I would go to bed around 11PM and wake up before 3AM wide awake. I think this is because at the time, my body was thinking it was just an extended nap. lol

In the mornings showers, and coffee keep me going. Further into the work day I'll go outside to walk and get some fresh air. When I get sleepy at home during the day I open the blinds to some outside light or if at night I turn on the main room lights and make it bright then either watch or play something to keep my mind occupied. If you are not focused or thinking about something you will doze off quick. Hence why we sometimes struggle to fall asleep because we are thinking of that thing that happened 15 years ago in school.

I normally start my days by taking multivitamins and found that they help me keep energised throughout the day, even on as little as 3 hours of sleep. The other thing I could recommend is moderating your caffeine and sugar intake throughout the day, as those can make you crash. I used to spend a lot of time sleeping when I had nothing to look forward to, although keep in mind sleepiness can be a symptom of an underlying health issue such as diabetes
