    Go to detention!

Just a fun little thread. Not a forum game, though! None of us are perfect. So it's time for you to confess your stories from childhood about the times you were sent to detention. Were you just a little bit cheeky to the teacher or maybe you hit a classmate? Fess up, kiddo.

I'll start us off and keep it to one instance per reply. Hmmm, well. I'm pretty sure I was sent to detention for beating up another kid (my age!) in my first year of secondary school. Some kid called Danny. Honestly, it wasn't really my fault. I was goaded into it by classmates. I was kinda overwhelmed by all the other kids egging me on. They were even showing me how to punch properly. But what could I have done? Run away and be branded a pussy for the rest of the year? I right-hooked the poor kid and winded him. Not my proudest day of school. Luckily it was only a couple of hours in detention.

He left school that year, likely due to him being badly bullied by dozens of kids.

I was a pretty good kid and to this day I do my best to be law-abiding and such but I did get sent to detention once. I forgot my gym clothes. Yep, that's it.

I got a "lunch detention" once as well. It's not normal detention, you pretty much go have lunch at a standalone table (it's just a regular class desk off in the corner of the lunch room). I didn't actually do anything wrong in this case, a guy flung a spoonful of pudding at me and one of the lunchladies or whoever she was didn't want to even attempt to understand what happened and gave us both lunch detention. It was the last day before Christmas break and she took the day off anyway so she wasn't even there to check that we were in the punishment chairs so we both got up and went back to our tables as usual. Looking back on it, I don't think she ever formally dropped lunch detention on us, it was more of a threat we took seriously.

Pretty boring, I know but my school had way worse things going on and I flew under the radar. I didn't wanna get caught up with the troublemakers in a place like that.

I'm kind of in the same boat where I didn't really get into too much trouble. I recall way back in elementary school that I was forced to miss recess and stay in teacher's room because I got into a fist fight with another kid. I do recall in like 6th or 7th grade, I was made to stay in the teacher's room because I didn't do a particular assignment for her. Not exciting, I know but it is what it is.

Hope theres room for more on that boat. I can only think of 2 times I got detention.
Once in 5th grade when I forgot to do homework and had to stay in a room with other kids with detention at recess.
The only other time was in high school for being late to my Government class too much. I just st aas yes behind that day and did homework. The non-AP government teacher was...not good. We never really learned anything about government. She just made us read Newsweek every week and fill out a worksheet. This was 12th grade. I did literally the same thing in 6th grade. So I really didnt give a shit about being late to her class.

But, yay! We're all complete nerds good members of society!

Man, I'm already looking like a total deviant compared to you three absolute angels. Surely I'm not the only one who did some questionable shit in school. I guess my school wasn't the best. For a good few years in secondary school I had close to the highest attendance record, so I was good in that way, but as time went on I gradually gave fewer and fewer fucks. Being late never got me a detention. Hell, I skipped half of a school day once to get my hair styled and I didn't get detention when they found that out. Perhaps things are quite different in the US. Funny when it's the British who are stereotypically portrayed as the polite ones. The majority of schools aren't so good.

I only got in trouble 3 times. Once was because I didn't want to stand up in front of the class and talk about a calendar (it was 2nd grade)., the second time a few years following that, I was playing tag or something outside with a girl and tripped over her leg so we both fell and I said "ah b*tch!" and she thought I called her one but I was just made about falling, and the last time was for another girl trying to fight me, I kept refusing and she eventually hit me on another there but I somehow got in trouble along the way. lol

Have you considered streaming on Twitch and cultivating an army of simps to send after her?
Alternatively, have you reported her to the Twitch Safety Council? They take violence seriously.
