    Favorite Seasonal Things?

I am a big fan of the fall and winter season. I prefer cooler weather, I enjoy the snow, and I like a lot of the food. The only thing I don't like is that there is less daylight. Everything else is perfect though. We get just the right amount of snow and cold days. Right when I am about to be over the winter, it warms up.

What are some of your favorite things about the "holiday season"?

My favorite types of weather are snow and rain, so there's that. I also prefer colder weather to hot weather. I'd rather be cold than sweaty. You can apply more layers to warm up, but I can stand in the middle of my apartment stark naked in July (I often do. Close to a window.) and feel miserable. There isn't any more I can do to mitigate that discomfort so I get more and more upset, which causes the room to heat up even more from my extreme breathing.

Ok seriously though, I really love Fall colors and the cooler weather, and the food is a nice bonus as well. Pumpkin bread, apple pie, Thanksgiving fare, chuck wagon casserole, i'm down for it all. there are like 7 birthdays in my family in November alone, so it's always been a fun & eventful time for me. Winter is another favorite of mine but I think the only 2 things that draw me to it are snow & Christmas. On a clear, cold Winter day in January? Not really that special I guess. I do intend to retire to Hokkaido, Japan and attend the Snow Festival each year, however. I really like that Winter town aesthetic & the way snow is just a part of life up there.

I hate the heat and for the same reason as you, I prefer it to be cold. Unless I am working out or physically performing labor that makes me sweat, I do not want to be sweating. I had to live without AC for 3 days one summer and I HATED IT. I sound spoiled but I grew up having air conditioning so if the house is above 75, I sweat like crazy. I prefer it to be about 65 to 68.
