    Your Favourite Book

I hope all of you have read enough books to establish a favorite ...if not start reading!

My favorite book would be "The Hobbit" by J.R.R Tolkien.

    Your Favourite Book

I've read this book at least three times already and I never get tired of it!

I've also learned a little while back that peter jackson is taking up the task of creating the hobbit film. Its rumored to be out by December 12, 2012 (thats so far away...) and its to be divided into two films. I hope they stay on track with the book

    RE: Your Favourite Book

lol You read my mine! O_o I was thinking of making a post about books too!

I've never read The Hobbit, but I loved the old cartoon/movie of it! It was really good.

I've been reading this series for awhile now, ( hard to keep up with it plus the addiction to manga as well ) its called Through Wolf's Eyes by Jane Lindskold. And its followed by several other books as well. It reminds me of Tarzan, because like him this girl is also raised by animals; raised by wolves. I won't spoil it for you, but I will say it is a good read.

I'm still waiting on the 4th Eragon book.

    RE: Your Favourite Book

Sounds like a good book! I'll probably check that out when I get a chance. And me too! I've read all three and still haven't heard anything about the fourth

    RE: Your Favourite Book

I'd have to say the entire Wheel of Time saga by Robert Jordan, or the Name of the Wind, by Patrick Rothuss.

    Hmm, tough call there.

I'm torn between 1984 and War of the Worlds. Overall I'm more of a Wells fan, but for me 1984 stood above Orwell's other works.

Now if she doesn't start having adventures with a stupid* bear who's obsessed with loafing around the jungle while dancing*, then this is a no-sell!

As for my (current) favourite book:

    Yes, it's real. And there's also a Vol. 2.

    (*Obviously this is Disney-only stuff.)
"It turned out that the ghost was just Mr. Finley, who ran the amusement park. The spooky part is that, as soon as the ghost appeared, the teenagers' dog began to speak! And it spoke in a tortured parody of human speech: 'relp me, Raggy,' it would say. 'I am an abomination and rould re rilled. Rill re, Raggy.'"

    RE: Your Favourite Book

Think Eragon is definitely on my list of favorites. It was the only book I've read without putting down easily. Although technically I read "The very hungry caterpillar" without putting it down too but, that was when I was 5-years old and I digress.
This is my signature, isn't it great?

    RE: Your Favourite Book

Oh wow! I didn't think of the Jungle Book! Nice one, Baron!

Also another good read is Maximum Ride by James Patterson, or at least I'm lovin' it! The newest book from that series came out this month on Valentine's Day.
