What do you fear most when it comes to people?

I know for many people, their greatest fears include death, dying alone, heights, illness, or some form of animal or insect. Putting all that aside and only focusing on people, what would you say your greatest fear is?

This can be anything happening now with major movements, anything one person can do to you, etc.

I guess my biggest fear when it comes to other people would have to be my biggest fear ever, trust. Trusting people is one thing I avoid at all costs. I'd rather find a way to resent someone when they start to get too close. Call it paranoia or whatever, but in my opinion the best strategy to avoid getting disappointed is to always expect disappointment.

I can relate to this. I have trusted many people in my life and every single one of them has hid things or lied to me. Some things were minor and easy to forgive but other things were just completely uncalled for. If I give a person my trust, I tend to go through bouts of paranoia where I will almost make up scenarios in my head had the person been lying just to see how I would react. It is almost like I am preparing for the betrayal or something.

    Correction

This is so similar to my case. No matter how I feel about anyone, other than my siblings, trust has been so difficult to cultivate. Our parents have really tried to be transparent but it didn't work with me. That has molded me to become so paranoid and distrusting. I really hope that someday I'll be able to start trusting people again.

My biggest fear is the forms. The people who have the most refined forms are extremely dangerous.
Civilisation is the worst weapon of man. Just look at the politicians, religious, rich, etc...
Respectability (as a social mark) is extremely Dangerous.
    Never overestimate mankind.

There are people who are really good liars, those are the kind of people I'm most afraid of. They plant ideas in your head to cause false memories and make you believe in things that didn't even happen.

These kind of people are everywhere. In my life, particularly, I've got people who can practically hypnotize me into a fit of rage or happiness. It may be that I'm easy, but I don't think so. Following lots of heartbreaks, broken friendships and generally a messed up relationship with almost everyone, I have decided to put up walls that have made me a sociopath. To avoid being taken advantage of, I become hostile with every little provocation or for no reason at all.
