Do you feel better or worse after spending time around people?

This can be just handing out with family or friends, or just generally being out in public where people are gathered like the grocery store, the mall, the zoo, etc.

I tend to feel great after spending time with a handful of people or less but if I go to a crowded area, I just feel drained. I don't even have to talk to any of the strangers to feel this energy shift in me. I know that sounds weird but I think because so much is going on when you are around a lot of people that for someone who prefers to avoid crowds, it is overwhelming.

I'm the same way, KorinKitty...I like doing a social thing every now and then, and I enjoy lengthy, in-depth conversations with a person(s) I know well, but big groups/events drain me, saps my energy and I'm left like a dead battery lol...I have to recharge in solitude, and THEN I can go out again, be sociable, all that jazz.
No one's gonna' give you a map. You've gotta' walk your own path.

I guess it depends with the kind of people I'll be spending time with. If I'm just chilling with my friends then that will definitely be an awesome time. But if I'm just around dudes that I have never met then that will be a waste of my time.

By nature, I am a loner and have loved it for most of my life. Since I'm a student though, I spend most of my time with fellow students, and I can't say I entirely hate it. I think it depends on the kind of people I hang out with and if I'm feeling up to it. On some days I'd rather stay in, or go grab a cup of coffee at the nearest cafe, alone with my thoughts, but I'm never against grabbing a pint with friends.
