Do you have a "happy place"?

I would have to say my happy place is the beach (preferably when its quiet and very early in the morning). I have always loved the smell associated with summer nights and just the smell of the ocean water which is why I'm always drawn to it. I am usually very peaceful there and relaxed unlike the feeling you get in a large city. Maybe one day I will even live on the beach but for now I will enjoy my long drive there!

I would love to hear your "happy places" !

Ah, the early morning beach... nothing much else like it.
    Excellent choice Anna!

I think my happy place is a simple seat in the sunlight.

Always found that kind of thing to be pleasing, calms the mind.

My happy place is with nature. I love walking around the wildlife parks in our country and just soaking the sun and greenery. I love exercising outdoors especially in parks or playgrounds where there is grass and flowers!

I can't say for sure if I have a specific 'happy place'...At least, not one I physically go to. To me, the internet is kind of like my happy place- because I don't have to leave my house, which is great (mentally, at least- not actually a good thing) for someone with agoraphobia. But...Otherwise, I suppose wherever I live at a time is basically my happy place. If I feel like I'm at 'home', I feel safe...and that makes me way happier than being outdoors- even though I'm a big fan of nature.

If it were a place I imagine though, such as when you try to calm someone down by reminding them to think of their happy place...For me it's atop a cliff overlooking the water, with a forest nearby. It's kind of interesting how very different it is from my reality.

I struggle with agoraphobia, too, so I relate to Juneberry in that my 'happy place' is very much at home, most of the time at my computer. I feel it's important (at least for myself) to maintain an enviroment I can relax in, so I like to keep my space as dimly lit as possible, I have a few bunches of fairy lights pinned to the coving, and a few scented candles (vanilla smells delicious!) to help me relax. I like to keep Rainy Mood on, too, since there's nothing better than a lazy rainy day. Yeah, so I guess my room would be my happy place.

I'm not good at all in crowds, though my "happy place" would most likely be on a quiet beach. It's why I'd love to rent a beach apartment if I hit it big one day! (Never abandon the dream! )
