Lazy ways to be more active?

Sounds funny but I read an article that said if you sit a lot, simply standing and doing stretches for a few minutes every 30 minutes makes a MAJOR difference in your health. Also read that sitting too long is the worst thing you can do for your spine and general health.

So I am trying to think of "lazy ways" to be more active like this. Since a lot of us are in lockdown, I thought this would be a good opportunity to experiment.

What are some simple, low effort ways to be more active throughout the day?

I've been exercising three times a week. I have a 5x5 routine where I do 5 sets of 5 reps:

5 sets of 5 squats each
    5 sets of 5 sit-ups each
    5 sets of 5 push-ups each

I will probably start adding more sets as the weeks go by, or I might swap these bodyweight exercises out for cardio every other day.
A boy has the right to dream. There are endless possibilities stretched out before him....

If you live with a significant other, I can think of one type of exercise. Gotta work that core!
It's not lazy, but even lazy people like it.

Alternatively, drink tons of caffeine so your heart beats super fast. It's like a full workout and you don't even need to move! (please don't do this)

You could buy one of those electro-stimulation machines that make your muscles jostle around. That's what they did to Snake in MGSV so his muscles stayed big & beefy even while he was in a coma for 8 years.

They really did that in the game? I didn't play that one. I have a TENS unit if that is what you are referring to here. I use it for my neck mostly. I don't think that will do anything for me staying fit though lol
