    Plans for summer?

Given that stuff has been closed, canceled, or delayed... I would imagine some of you have had to change some summer plans. I didn't have anything going on this year outside of just enjoying the fresh air and swimming in my pool so it won't be any different for me.

Have your plans for summer changed?

Not really. I intend to do what I do every summer. Walk on the lakewalk/nature trail, drink and hang out with my buddies, go to bars (Hopefully, things will actually open up around that time), work hopefully at the office again. Just the usual.

It'll most likely be October or later by the time Britain resumes normal living. And if that's the projection for Britain, welp, don't know about its good friend USA that's probably on the path to lead this pack. So I guess summer plans don't really matter! Good thing I'm not much of a social person in the first place so I won't be missing out on as much as others.

Nevertheless I hope there'll be good weather this summer. Nice skies. It seems the coronavirus is doing astronomers a favour. Skies are getting pretty clear now. You may be able to see more at night, most likely quite a lot by the summertime.

That is a good point, this might drag out a while. I think we will get a break after May and then we will have issues again come the fall but I hope not. I just want it to be over and things to go back to normal or as normal as they once were.

I am hoping for good weather too. I will be spending a lot of time in my pool and soaking in some sun. I might start a garden as well. I don't really do the normal social stuff so I am fine being alone with just me, my husband, and our kitties.

My wedding was planned for July but the travel lockdown made that impossible. Half of the people coming were from Japan so we're pushing that off. I also had a 2 week trip to Peru planned for mid-May but that's been cancelled as well. Bummeroni and cheese.

That really sucks! I would hate to plan a wedding and have to worry about all this mess. Did you guys at least pick a new date? Hopefully, everyone can still attend and enjoy the moment with you both.

It feels like there's very little I can do right now. My grandmother doesn't want to do anything so we are both stranded at home. She just sits around watches TV all day and I am resigned to staying online. Can't get a job right now, so it's very, very grim.

I still have to focus on my degree course and home office saves me up some time because I dont have to drive, so I go with that.
Didnt plan to do something else without corona to begin with.

My family usually has some kind of BBQ on the 4th of July which I think they are still planning since it is only a few of us. The people who live next door to my parents have a huge gathering so I am wondering if they are going to do that this year or not. They don't seem too concerned with the virus. Heck, at this point not many people do in the world given the huge gathers people are doing for protests.

As of today I have a job interview scheduled for Friday. I'm hoping I get the job so I can start making money and saving to pay for my last year of college.
