    Anyone read comic books?

    Marvel, DC, Image, anything really.

I personally really like DC comics, though there current state is getting screwy. Right now I'm mostly just following Wonder Woman and the new Shazam title.

I'm less a fan of Marvel because I was never a fan of how "shared" the universe there is. A lot of times it feels like I'm reading less about certain heroes, and more like I'm reading random chapters of a wide-reaching "Marvel" soap opera. A lot of characters seem to lack unique supporting casts, instead relying on other established Marvel heroes to act as one. It's not bad, though. I still dig some of their stuff. Right now the only Marvel comic I'm following is Ms. Marvel, but Immortal Hulk was really good before I had to drop it to save some cash. >_>

Outside the Big Two I really like Saga, but I'm just slowly going through that. Haven't come close to catching up yet lol.
    Life is demanding, without understanding.

I don't read as much anymore. I used to be a huge avid reader as a kid. There was a point where I had a falling out but the 2002 Sam Raimi Spider-Man movie helped reinvigorate my interest in it. My big favorite one that I used to read a lot is Ghost Rider who is to this day my all time favorite comic book character. The 70s comics were good but it was the 90s era Danny Ketch comics that I would read the most and was a huge part of my high school years. I was also big on The Punisher and Hitman around that same time too.

I have been wanting to get into manga but haven't dove into that pool just yet.

I never been into comics on a large scale. If I ever were to get into them, it would be the stories that are more off the script and not so mainstream. I feel like Marvel and DC get way too political anymore and if I were to read comics, it would be to escape reality for a bit, not focus on it even more. Ya know?

I need to read more of the manga I have in my collection. Especially the samurai manga as well as my omnibus of Astro Boy.

Not since I was a boy. I used to read comics quite often as a kid, but not superhero stuff that's never appealed. Rather, I read The Beano and The Dandy, as well as Sonic the Comic.

In my adolescent years and beyond I've never bothered, although I've read a couple of graphic novels such as Scott Pilgrim. (Which is fucking awesome.)

    Jim: "How do you know?"
    Gene: "I don't!"
    Jim: "I knew it."
Gene: "That's okay. There's a first time for everything!"

I read a rather rare run of Megaman comics when I was 11 years old, as well as the Pokemon and Digimon comics published by Dark Horse in the USA.

I really got into the walking dead for a while. The first 120 issues were pretty intense. Then my love for it died because I started watching the show.

When I was younger we had a comic book store in town. I grew up broke, but I’d buy any comic I could afford. Spawn & X-men always caught my eye. But sadly I couldn’t tell ya what issues I had, that was a long time ago.

I am huge fan of Valiant Comics. Bloodshot, XO Manowar, Shadowman, Ninjak, etc. Great comics. I also like Boom Studios Power Rangers Comics they are really good. Marvel's current Conan The Barbarian run is great too.

I was into DC for a bit but I don't really like what they did with the new 52, and the weird revamp it got. My main interest has really mostly been Batman, I need to go back and read more of the stuff from the 80's early 90's. Never been super into Marvel, not really sure why. I think DC just caters more towards my inner goth kid. lmfao

I also use to read the comics of card capture sakura, when they were printed as individual comics and not as manga
"book". This was back when they still flipped manga for English audiences. Also went through my edgy phase and use to be a fan of Johnny the homicidal maniac.
