What's your opinion on Zodiac signs?

Kind of a random topic, but how does everyone feel about zodiac signs? Do you believe they actually have some power to predict your day to day? Do you just enjoy them for fun? What's your sign(s)? Are you sick of them and think they're a bunch of baloney? This is more just a general what's your opinion thread and not really a debate or anything. :3 (but if this belongs in Blue Heaven feel free to move it!)

Personally I think they're actually pretty fun! I don't put a lot of stock in them as predictors or end all be alls, but it's fun when you find something that resonates with you. I use to not like them, since I never vibed with my sign. Then I found out there are multiple signs that are supposed to represent different parts of you. Then it was a lot more interesting because there was more to look at. I don't really take it super seriously though, but it's fun to joke about with friends. It's more like a silly hobby and conversation starter to me. What about you? :o

    My main signs are:
    Sun - Leo
    Moon - Scorpio
    Ascendant - Virgo
If you want to do a chart and see what it says about you here's a place that gives you a lot of info: (Remember to take it with a grain of salt. Lol)

Realtalk: It's all a load of absolute fucking bollocks. Lumps of rock and ice drifting around space, several billion miles away, having a legitimate, meaningful effect on Earth life, person-by-person? Nah.

I mean we have 7.2 billion people on Earth, but there are only 12 star signs? How the fuck does that work then? Only 12 personalities? I look at this shit in newspapers and it's always the same generic guff; just a paragraph of nebulous astro-balls that you might just be able to find a tenuous personal link to.

Pubtalk: Good for a laugh, especially when they're so horribly wrong.

Looking at that site now, and:
    "76 Conjunction Uranus - Ascendant

He is always changing, somewhat unstable. He is ready to innovate, to change everything. He is inventive."

    Meanwhile, in the real world:
"It turned out that the ghost was just Mr. Finley, who ran the amusement park. The spooky part is that, as soon as the ghost appeared, the teenagers' dog began to speak! And it spoke in a tortured parody of human speech: 'relp me, Raggy,' it would say. 'I am an abomination and rould re rilled. Rill re, Raggy.'"

I don't buy into any of it and find that most of it is only appealing to people because it is generalized to fit almost anyone.

The only ones I know offhand is that I am a Pisces and a Dragon (Chinese)

@Baronofstuff - I don't really disagree with you. I like the way you worded it lol. I think honestly most of it is extremely general and applies to pretty much everyone in some capacity. Technically there's like 144 or something personality types if you do the full spread but even then, that's way too general. The main reason I know about this stuff is my cousin really seems to dig it, so it's at least something fun to bond over. I think the funnest thing about astrology is how other people decide to interpret it. I feel like you can tell more about a person based on their views, or what they see in it, verses what ever the signs are supposed to "tell you". I laugh because mine likes to contradict it's self. Apparently I never think or use logic, and everything I do is based on emotion, while in the next line everything I do is based on logic and I need to learn to be more emotional. lol

@KorinKitty - I totally see where you're coming from in that respect. Most of it is pretty broad and fits most people. That's why I think it's funny when you read another sign that isn't your's and you're like "OH THAT'S ME". I actually have the same feeling with personality tests like the briggs myers one. : o

Oh man, I love the opening to Saint Seiya. It's so catchy.

So every day since I last posted I am supposed to have met "the one", whatever the fuck that means.

Must be a type of beer.

So many things that are written in these in a vague way to fit so many different outcomes, it is hard to say. Most people I know who were into them no longer follow them or just straight up laugh at them. I think the only one in my family who follows them is my pagan niece.
