Thread: Gigapixel Outlaw Star Images

I started using a new upscaler called Gigapixel AI and it's very impressive. I'm going to start posting Outlaw Star images I've upscaled. First of all, feast your eyes on what the final manga release will look like. Before (using a regular upscale) and after (scaled with Gigapixel instead):





You can also see the final (might change minor things, but otherwise done) first page here. By the way, my main focus at the moment is the draft version of the manga which can be viewed by outlaw-tier patrons. While I'll work on the final version at the same time it'll be a slower process as the draft is definitely more important.

I'll probably focus on Outlaw Star anime upscales in subsequent replies. Or if you have requests, feel free.

Wow, looks good. You sent me something in the past that you used Gigapixel on, but I couldn't tell the difference. However this one is obviously quite a noticeable improvement and I'm looking forward to reading the manga front to back someday with this level of image quality. Not sure how resource-intensive Gigapixel AI is, but I'd be willing to split some chapters with you if it runs in a plug-and-play fashion. I'm not certain how much I'd really need to know before using it or if it requires and prompting from me as to which parts of the image to enhance.
