Thread: Where do you think DBS (the manga) will go from here?

I didn't read it yet but I know the basics and how it ends. I won't post anything spoiler related on the topic though in case anyone here is not finished or hasn't started it yet.

Anyway, I am curious to see where the store goes. Like which characters will hold more focus for the next chapters.

What do you think? Where do you think the focus will go? Will they introduce another villain right away or break away from that for something closer to what we saw with the ToP?

I really don't know, the new arc does look interesting but it's pretty hard to predict. What we can say is that Goku and Vegeta will get most of the limelight as always. I think Granola could be a Tuffle.

Funny think about Tuffles is that I always thought Bulma was one based on her appearance and her intelligence.

I am wondering where they will go with this though. Maybe they will "redo" some aspects from GT and we will finally get a SS4 that is canon with the main story.

Was watching some of the GT endings the other day, I think despite its reputation many are in agreement that the show wasn't totally bad.

I agree that they could attempt to bring certain ideas back and make them fit within Super.

Personally, I don't think Goku or Vegeta will get SSJ4 if that happens, but perhaps the Universe 6 lot might.

No idea what to expect from the manga at this point. I finished the Moro arc fairly recently and while I probably shouldn't have powered through the whole damn thing in a day (because now I can barely fucking remember anything other than the major points) it's getting to a point where you have to ask what can they do? Goku & Vegeta have attained so much power during DBS alone that even opponents with wildly unconventional methods of attacking eventually just get bodied by way of the two Saiyans training enough so they can just tank the hits and use sheer brute force (which in all fairness is what Saiyans are generally all about anyway but whatever).

On a sidenote, I generally love pretty much anything DB (GT is generally a turd in execution but at the very least had some pretty neat ideas for arcs & villains) because I can just turn my brain off for a moment and enjoy the noise and explosions, but it's effectively been nothing but the Super Saiyan Super Show since the Buu saga, which is a goddamn shame because a character like Piccolo deserves much better.

I did like how the ToP gave more action to the rest of the cast, even if it was just lip service really. This goes to show how irrelevant they have been for a long time. Not counting Frieza, 17's probably the closest to Goku and Vegeta and as for the rest, they really need to give them a power-up.
