    RE: England riots

Well, I'm not so clued on what's going to happen, but so long as just those who were/will be convicted are affected, that's fine with me. I wouldn't want to see more innocent people yet suffering as a result. As stated above, I oppose the riots and what they've caused in just about every way possible. However, if you compare the cost in damages to other expenses over the years...

Highest estimated cost of riots: £100m
Tax avoidance by Vodafone: £6 billion
Tax spent on Libyan intervention: £1 billion
Tax avoidance in 2010 by richest people in the UK: £7 bllion
Tax payers bill for banking crisis: £131 billion
Tax money spent on Iraqi conflict: £4.5 billion
Tax money spent on Afghan conflict (up until 2007): £7 billion
Total MP expenses bill (2007) £87.6m
Gene: "Have faith in me guys, enjoy the ride—you're in good hands. I can handle this. I can do it!"
    Jim: "How do you know?"
    Gene: "I don't!"
    Jim: "I knew it."
Gene: "That's okay. There's a first time for everything!"

    Well here's what one idiot said;

"Duuuh, cause dey is takinz our benefits and taxes are too high and we can't get jobs and shizz"

The person speaking was 12. WTF seriously. That statement files neatly under the "quick think of something which people complain about"

The other excuse was because of the young male who was shot. However, the people who originally stood in protest about that did it peacefully and were horrified. After all, a sure fire way of making sure that your message is totally realised is by setting fire to things! ¬___¬ no-one sides with people who destroy shiz.

And Mantis, since we already have that bill, we can't really afford £100mil. I personally think is should be taken from the tax avoiders and banks.

And I'm on Vodafone lol. Not changing it though, I get the best signal out of EVERYONE mwahahahahahaaa

You're asking for historical accuracy in a series where men weilding three swords in each hand, pirates surfing across land on giant anchors, horses with motocycle parts attached and feudal-era Power Rangers are the norm?
