Thread: Eureka 7

Have you guys ever watched it? I remember watching it a few years back but I don't really remember the plot of it. Due to this I am reading the Manga now and I think it I preety ok so far but I want to hear other opinions on it.

I remember the name. It's an anime I heard of many years ago and really wanted to watch, but for whatever reason I forgot.

Eureka 7 is good. Not the best mech anime out there, but it has a fairly interesting story, and the combat is different, with most mechs flying around using skateboard things. I enjoyed it when I first watched it, and I'd recommend it if you like Mecha.

Watched some of it on Adult Swim many years ago. I also have 2 of the omnibus manga volumes. I just came across them yesterday in fact as I was unpacking at my new house and put them in my "next to read" pile. I guess you could say they have officially entered the backlog queue.

While some of the characters annoyed me (specifically the main character and little kids) it was an overall decent show. If you are looking for something similar to watch I suggest checking out Xam'd Lost Memories.
