I'm the odd one out who doesn't like tea. I'm glad Starbucks does hot chocolate for the irregular occasion I visit.

Hot chocolate is the best hands down. But coffee and tea are good if I'm in the right mood. I don't find tea bitter though...am I weird? O.o

Coffee by itself is gross to me. I think when I drink it it's 80% milk xD

Agreed, can't beat a nice hot cup of coco! I bought a sachet of this special Spanish hot chocolate (Vira, it was called) a while ago. It was absolutely delicious, and very thick.

Tea and coffee are more like morning drinks, if you ask me. When you're just starting the day and need a quick jolt of energy. Caffeine is a necessity when you're an insomniac with academic responsibilities, as I'm sure you two are aware. Hot chocolate just makes me sleepy.

I'm kind of ashamed to admit I've never actually been to Starbucks. Am I missing much? I hear that place is hipster central, so possibly not.

Hot chocolate is so good. Pile on the marshmallows because the foam is the best part.

Anise tastes basically like black liquorice. Or maybe it's liquorice that tastes like anise? It's from star anise, and the scent is real distinct. Mildly sweet.
I've only been to Starbucks once and had the vanilla equivalent of hot chocolate. Very nice. I've heard good things about their pumpkin blends, too, but they're a bit pricy.

Heck yes! I love filling the cup with those mini marshmallows.

Hmm, I like licorice so that does sound nice. I'll have to keep my eyes peeled next time I go shopping for tea!

I have no sense of smell so I can't help but wonder what counts as a distinct smell for tea. But I like black liquorice myself (and liquorice in general- but some people see me as weird for preferring the black version) so now I really, REALLY want to find anise. I don't find it surprising that pumpkin blend exists though. There's pumpkin EVERYTHING in the US, after all. Especially as we get closer to October. I've seen pumpkin based pastas and stuff...Pumpkin ice cream is pretty good actually...
