How about the conspiracy theory of the CIA actually spying on the world without the people knowing. Come to look at it, the agency have the technology to do use undetected and remember they are very deep in the spying business with their assets spread across all countries undercover.

This one scared the hell out of me, when news broke out that everyone is under surveillance. The worst part is, the NSA is keeping a detailed log of everything you do without a good reason!

The CIA can spy on me any time they like.

In all seriousness, that's really another whackjob theory. While there probably is a grain of truth to it, it's not the way most people think. Corporations and governments for that matter might aggregate data, but the chance that they're personally watching you in the nude through your webcam is very low sadly.

An example of why a government might be monitoring you personally is if your IP address has been caught in a cluster of addresses related to those who spank their monkeys to kiddie porn. Or if you're known to the government to show a keen interest in ISIS.

These are quite extreme circumstances. Would they really have the time or the energy to monitor every person? How many people do you think they employ?

LOL, the NSA isn't keeping a log of everything we do nor are we all under surveillance. Seriously guys...

To think that any of us normal joes and joanns are worth the effort of spies being paid to watch everything we do is insane. You know how much money that would cost? lol I have my paranoid moments and have went down that road before but very few things have stuck with me.

I dont believe there is a way to know the exact number of conspiricy theories - there are thousands upon millions of them having to do with so many different things it would be hard to know a number.

As for the most popular i would assume it would be Area 51 and 9/11.
