Yes, I'd agree with Zem; it's something more than a dream and possibly sleep paralysis if you felt something physical afterwards.

I actually just awoke from a dream and it's close to 2PM. It wasn't long after 2AM when I fell asleep. It's very rare that I sleep for this long.

Sometimes, in a sense, more positive dreams can be worse than nightmares. I'm more able to just exit out of a nightmare. This dream I had seemed to last for days, and I know I woke up a few times, but subconsciously I wanted to jump back into my dream (something I can do naturally) so that took priority over actually getting up. (I hate alarm clocks, but I think I need a good one.)

So the dream wasn't bad overall, but it was such a bizarre clusterfuck of different events that there'd be little point in recording it.
Gene: "Have faith in me guys, enjoy the ride—you're in good hands. I can handle this. I can do it!"
    Jim: "How do you know?"
    Gene: "I don't!"
    Jim: "I knew it."
Gene: "That's okay. There's a first time for everything!"

I'm so happy that I get to reference this manga for the 3rd time in under a year since I've been on OSN.

Dude! I remember you mentioning this and I vaguely remember the story. It must have been at least six months ago and unfortunately I tend to forget short stories rather quickly. Gonna read this again later. If anybody else is interested I found this link. It's a bit fucked up though.

I enjoy most fiction about dreams. The TV series Falling Water is... okay. Not amazing by any means but it's passable. (Maybe as a lucid dreamer I'm a bit biased.)

    Serious question though...

Junji Ito vs. Takehiko Ito. Who would win in a death battle?

I was dreaming now the last seven days off nothing much else but guns, tanks and aircraft.
It is always me being some soldier/ secret agend whatever shooting or blowing something up.
Last night i got to destroy a 1950s airbase. In the dream before that, I got to shoot some bad guys inside of a futuristic train.

The Window Next Door is a classic...I've got a Junji Ito book right here with me on my desk at work! I've read all of his works that I've been able to find in English in print or...otherwise...
Not everything will be scary to everyone, but the shock/body horror mixed with his muted characters make his work unsettling at the very least. I could probably recommend 5 of his stories to check out because there are easily over 100. There was an anime about a year ago as well that adapted several of his classics, amongst 10+ movies showcasing his work.

Versus Takehiko in person? Maybe Junji, he was an oral surgeon so I suppose he'd know more about anatomy or something. Junji is definitely the smaller of the two, though.

    Too hot for most audiences

If you like those kinds of stories, maybe you'd like the anime called Midori. Now that was creepy. I'd probably check out that Junji anime. If there's an anime adaptation available I'll usually choose that over the manga. I guess I'm just lazy.

My eyebrows were inexplicably my moustache at the same time.

    What a shit dream.
"It turned out that the ghost was just Mr. Finley, who ran the amusement park. The spooky part is that, as soon as the ghost appeared, the teenagers' dog began to speak! And it spoke in a tortured parody of human speech: 'relp me, Raggy,' it would say. 'I am an abomination and rould re rilled. Rill re, Raggy.'"

    Dubbel Poast.

Posted this somewhere else originally so excuse the shit formatting:

    > Wake up in a strange room.
    > I don't live here what the fuck is this bullshit.
    > Someone keeps knocking at the door.
    > Former landlord's wife is standing there.
    > "Sorry but I have to go away for another year."
    > I didn't even realise she was gone in the first place but okay, bye.
    > Close door and turn around.
    > Back where I actually live.
    > Oh good it's that fucking dream where spiders just appear everywhere with no explaination.
    > Yep there they are, giant tarantulas all down the fucking toilet again. I'm getting sick of this shit.
    > Lucid at this point so I just fly through the ceiling into outer space to see what happens.

    Then I woke up.

I'M NOT EVEN ARACHNOPHOBIC YOU DUMB SHIT BRAIN. STOP GIVING ME SPIDER-RELATED DREAMS.

If you need something to wake you up with endless ear-splitting noise, this one works wonders for me.

HAT-TRICK. Three dumb posts in a row.

I don't remember the specifics or really anything else about this dream, but at some point I was at an outside party in the middle of a storm (figure that out). The host has set all the curtains on the outside of the house "to stop the windows from getting wet".

    "Oh, makes sense."

    This is getting fucking absurd.

Do you have often dreams where the OS cast appears?
I had about 5 with Aisha by now. Is that usual?
