That is something I always wanted, a legit tea set but I want a Japanese one with cats on it. I have a few Japanese rice bowls with cats on them and I love them. Made from porcelain and handpainted.

You can find sellers on Ebay, or you can check out the following vendors that sell Japanese tea and teaware:

    o-cha.com
    yunomi.life
    ippodotea.com
    sugimotousa.com

Yeah, I have seen some on eBay. I will check out those other places, thanks for the info. How much do they typically run? The rice bowls I have were around $15 each and they are quite small so I would imagine a full tea set is $50+

This came in the mail a few days ago: Do you know anyone who drinks sweet tea?-20210422_135403-jpg

A 2020 harvest qing zhuan ("green brick") from Hubei Province. This is a type of tea that's compressed into bricks and sold primarily for the Central Asian peoples, who will use it either for yak butter tea (as in Tibet) or for suutei tsai (as in Mongolia).

Do you know anyone who drinks sweet tea?-20210424_134821-jpg It was so tightly compressed that I had to break it up into fine bits in order to break a good chunk off the brick. These teas were originally pressed so they could be transported easier.

Do you know anyone who drinks sweet tea?-20210424_134832-jpg Here's what it looks like brewed. It yielded a darker, roasty-tasting brew with woody notes. Good for cold, wet days (or any day, really, as long as you enjoy it!)

Depending on where you look, you can find teapots and sets for less than $50. There are some on Amazon, some on Ebay, even some on Etsy if you're curious. :-D
