They're fries that you put in a bag with seasoning, shake it up (hence 'shaker' ) and then you have deliciously seasoned, crispy goodness!

After googling, it seems that they are only available in the UK... but they apparently do have them in McDonalds overseas. Huh.

Never heard of shaker fries myself.

So I went to Five Guys for the first time on Friday, not sure if that counts as 'fast food' since it took them long enough to cook it!

I honestly don't see what the fuss is all about. I ordered a burger with bacon, a regular portion of fries and a chocolate milkshake, and do you know how much it cost me? 17. Fucking ridiculous, but since I had heard nothing but good things about Five Guys and as an avid burger fan I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt, maybe it is just that good. It isn't. I can (and have) cooked much better burgers myself, and that's saying a lot.

They don't even bother to present it nicely, they just wrap the burger in tinfoil and throw it in a brown paper bag. And the music! God, it's worse than a shitty nightclub, you can barely have a conversation let alone hear them call out your order. Don't go to Five Guys, at least not the one in Luton.

As so often it comes when my will is weak, and my state's altered, I tackled Jack-in-the-Crack and their siren's song of a Munchie Meal yesterday.

Though it feels a bit like a abusive relationship, because it hurts every time, yet I keep finding myself coming back for more.

That's a shame, cuz the ones here in the states are pretty good. Been quite a while since I've gone, though, since I literally feel like my arteries are becoming clogged as I eat one lol but hey that's pretty much a fast food burger wherever u go.

Darn, all this talk of junk food is making me wanna' make some bad eating decisions right about now.

My guilty pleasure fast food is the Wendy's Baconator burger. Hamburger with bacon = delicious. But for my go to is always McDonalds because it's still pretty good and a lot closer to me to get to.

Yeah, I'm sure it's much better over in the US. Like Taco Bell, we only have a handful of them over here in the UK, so the ridiculous price you're paying is more for the novelty of it than anything else. I will at least say the fries were nice!

Yeah, if you're paying top $ for Taco Bell, there's just something inherently wrong going on.

The closest I have to a favourite would be Hungry Jacks a.k.a Australian Burger King.

Jack in the box breakfast jacks were my favorite. Something about egg and sausage in a bun at anytime of the day. It just made sense. If there was a place serving Nutella fries or anything smothered with Nutella I would be there
