Anyway, since she is from Japan, American versions of brands she was familiar with were a novelty to her for about a month and I got to try a few seasonal varieties of things like Oreos but since then I've missed tons of seasonal treats.

You eat 4 oreos at once? I think I always stop at 3, which I never noticed until you brought it up just now.
I almost always eat cookies in 4's. I don't know why. It doesn't matter what kind. If they are bigger cookies though I will eat one or two. Gotta give your wife a lot of credit. Sticking to just ice cream and reasonable portions in America is not easy. We have way too much junk food in this country.

I have a seasonal guilty pleasure I forgot about until my husband brought it home today... Candycane/peppermint ice cream. I loooove the cold rush I get from it and it actually helps my stomach. I am prone to stomach upsets from some food but mint anything has always helped. I have a feeling it will be gone by the end of the week. lol

Lol I love those too, but I'm not gonna tell you that you shouldn't feel guilty. Chicken and Dumplings are the Boomers' most lethal weapon.

You're really into peppermint bark Oreos too, right? I like peppermint from time to time and it does fit the holiday season, but I don't think I've come across nearly as much peppermint food technology as you have.

Pretty much all forms of junk food. I know it's terrible but I just can't quit it.

I can think of a lot of food, but pizza is a tough one to beat. I had a calzone during Friday evening at my local restaurant.

These are basically folded pizzas. I ordered a meat feast one and holy hell, it was ginormous and packed with toppings. It took me a while to eat it but I'd probably say they're even better than pizza. It was stone-baked with a texture that's a little grainy (no stickiness) making it nice to hold.

A runner-up would be fried chicken. That on the other hand is usually greasy as hell but I always love it. Or alternatively, chicken in hoisin marinade. Sometimes known as Chinese chicken. (In fact, hoisin goes well with most meat. Especially spare ribs.)

Gene: "Have faith in me guys, enjoy the ride—you're in good hands. I can handle this. I can do it!"
    Jim: "How do you know?"
    Gene: "I don't!"
    Jim: "I knew it."
Gene: "That's okay. There's a first time for everything!"

I am only just now seeing this reply lol I have to learn to read the notifications. I always forget about them because they sit at the bottom of the screen lol

Anyways, yeah I like the oreos too. I have always enjoyed mint as a flavor but other than having standard mints when I have a stomach ache, this is the time of year I eat a lot of mint items.

For me, It would probably would be ramen noodles. many people think that it is only for when you broke but in my opinion, it is pretty good for me even when I have money to spend but it is pretty unhealthy.
