As a fellow 30 y/o here, I can say that I've lost interest in a good number of things in the recent years, but it's hard to say why. I know I haven't 'grown up' or anything silly like that, but I do think it has more to do with my constant internal back and forth about what am I doing with my life and where should I be. I think life would be (funny enough) easier had I just had a kid or something already, because then life would be revolving more around easier decisions relating to taking care of them. The kid-free route almost leaves you with too much time and space to fill in life, and then there's that annoying pursuit of funds to support a fulfilling lifestyle.

Recently I do keep finding myself suddenly and quickly rekindling old interests like I did when I went back to searching for Outlaw Star related stuff, or the way I do every time I get back into anything FF related or dealing with any old interests from my past. The FF7 remake has been amazing on that front in the past year.

It is interesting to see that I'm far from the only one. I guess having kids would change hobbies a lot. Since Outlaw Star UK's inception a number of veteran members have ended up having children but some still visit the forums occasionally and probably still enjoy their hobbies.

One thing I should do is cutting down my time on YouTube. It's way too easy to watch that shit mindlessly like a zombie. It's just watching videos that, while usually entertaining at the time, I rarely feel fulfilled by afterwards. Although video games are still arguably a waste of time, I'd get more out of them than watching YouTube. Good games can be the gourmet steaks of entertainment, whereas YouTube is often just takeaways. (Or takeouts to you Americans.)
Gene: "Have faith in me guys, enjoy the ride—you're in good hands. I can handle this. I can do it!"
    Jim: "How do you know?"
    Gene: "I don't!"
    Jim: "I knew it."
Gene: "That's okay. There's a first time for everything!"

I used to be able to get lost on YouTube but I find myself even getting bored of videos from channels I am subscribed to. I would rather binge watch a series these days. It is a weird shift for me because I went awhile with not really watching anything TV-related and only watching stuff on YouTube to being the opposite.

I get that. I feel like games have stopped being as fun as they were when I was younger. I used to be able to sit down for hours and spend countless days playing games but now I feel like there are more productive ways I can spend my time. I feel like I value human contact a lot more as I got older

I used to make a ton of music. I was definitely passionate about it, and have an album released on all the streaming platforms, but now that I'm an adult with no time, I've had to really be selective with what passions I invest in. visual art was always number 1, but it's been a weird time watching every year go by and me being more and more ok with not even touching music

I've lost a lot of interest in both making and listening to music as well. In high school I played several instruments & had a band with my buddies, but now I sort of just listen to video game OSTs and just a few musicians who still appeal to me.

that's definitely understandable, especially with a band. It's so hard to coordinate multiple people do do anything at all, let alone something creative
