Though I prefer Pepsi overall, ice-cold glass-bottled Coca-Cola is delicious.

    Gene: "I don't!"
    Jim: "I knew it."
Gene: "That's okay. There's a first time for everything!"

I'm not sure if I actually responded to this thread or not. I like coke but it has to be very cold. I can't stomach any kind of soda warm. I also enjoy the vanilla coke once in a while for a switch.

I had a pepsi the other day and I remembered why I didn't like it. It wasn't the taste of it at first, it was the lingering aftertaste. For some reason it has always left a bad taste in my mouth. I do enjoy the throwback pepsi with vanilla in it but even that still gives that funny after taste so I hardly ever drink it.

I never heard that Pepsi is more of a northern drink and Coke more in the south.

When I lived in Michigan most of the people I knew prefered Coke though my in-laws who live in New England all like Pepsi better.

To me Pepsi is a little too sweet and lacks Coke's complexity. I like Mexican Coke better than US Coke because south of the boarder they use cane sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup so the Mexican version isn't as sweet as Coke made in the US.

To me the best soda of all is Stewart's grape soda. Wonderful stuff, just wish it wasn't so darn expensive!

Coke all the way. But I do drink brands from both companies. For Coca-cola, there's Sprite and Royal true orange that I consume from time to time. And for Pepsi, there's Mountain Dew - my first choice after a delicious meal.
