I had my cat since I was 11 and while she can be a little diva at times (she always drinks out of my cup despite me giving her a nice bowl of her own), I love her to bits...just as long as she stops puking hairballs on my bed...

That is an adorable cat you have. She seems very bossy though. She has that I rule the world kind of look and stance.

You don't know the half of it...

Oh sure, she'll curl around your legs and meow sweetly to get your attention or that tasty piece of chicken you are holding. You tell her she can't have it and proceed to eat while she tries to care-bear stare you in submission.

Then you leave the room for a few moments...only to come back and find little brown pellets on your bed/couch and her standing in the corner with that same pose as before...this is what I deal with when I forget to buy her canned food...

lol. The only thing with my female puppy is she tends to curse(yes she almost sounds like she is talking. If only she could actually speak English) when she is unhappy with something I did and didn't do which she is displeased with and she follows me around doing it for a long enough time(It is almost akin to women nagging and God knows how that is annoying) cursing me. I sometimes wonder if this is a dog or a human being trapped in a dog's body. I mean what kind of dog tries to talk to people?

I have three pets. One is my 8 month puppy Karma. She is literally my best friend in the world. We sleep together at night and do everything together. My other pet is a cat named Shi Shi. Shi Shi is an outdoor cat and has attitude. As a kitten she was the sweetest, but she became a thug outdoors, and now hates affection. My other cats named is Lucky and she is a god send. I swear this cat can sense your emotions. She loves to cuddle! Whenever I am crying in my bed she will literally wrap her paw around my chest and purr.

I had pets when I was younger, just small easy to look after ones like fish, hamsters, rabbits, budgies etc (not all at the same time).
I wouldn't have any pets any more as I wouldn't have the time to look after them and would forget to feed them etc!

Sadly I do not. I remember growing up with a german shepard/black lab mix breed and a calico cat. They were some my fondest childhood memories. They lived from when I was very little all the way until my first year in college. It still saddens me when I think about it. I want to get a pet, but my apartment is too small to accomodate such pets. I hope one day to move into a house, with one of the biggest reasons being so I can have a large enough space for pets. I would love to get a dog and a cat.

My family has two birds and a dog. The dog is actually our fourth. We've had the birds for at least 10 years now.

I got a cat. A perfect cat. She acts just like a fox, and she's always purring. Her name is Ren (no not like Ren from Ren n Stimpy), and she's the fuzziest tabby act you will ever see. When she lays down, she does this thing with her fur along her back that makes her look like a buzzsaw. Okay, I am doting about this cat a little too much.

Had two dogs, but we had to put one down sadly. I was crying when we had to, I grew up with her. Got her when I was 9, saved her life and she grew up with terrible hip displacement. A breeding mill, actually, was where we bought her from. 300 dollars to save a young dog's life and got almost 16 years of love and gratitude from her. Our border collie just turned ten in September, but I don't think she's too long for this world either. I moved out of my parents' house back in 2014 and then we lost our older dog and I don't think my border collie can take much more heartbreak.

Having a pet is a really hard lesson in friendship and life, but one well learned.

My dad's parrot calls me by name. He's a senegal, so he bites, but not hard enough to cause you anything more than momentary pain, which i can take. He loves all sorts of foods. He's really affectionate, but he's oversexed, so petting him can get grody. He tries to regurgitate on my dad almost all the time.
