Thread: Post something great that happened today

Aishaclanclanfan23: Go ahead with it, although... well, no matter. I'm sure it will make a great thread. I look forward to it. But let's get back on topic.

Right now I am drinking blueberry muffin flavoured milk. That is enough to make a day great alone. Otherwise, a pretty standard Saturday.

On Mabinogi, there was a guy fishing while wearing a shark suit. xD

Kingdom Hearts 3D came out today. Darn you Englishmen for getting it 11 days before us Americans.
Darn you all!

Today I got a library card. Yay! I just moved to this area so it was my first time at this library. Another great thing about today was the weather. First time all week where this Florida summer weather wasn't horrible. It was actually "chilly" and not humid. Yay for breathable air and books! :]

One great thing that happened to me today, was discovering my favorite pizza joint. Those guys sell 500g of pizza for 1 euro and it tastes amazing. A cheesy upper crust, with mushroom, ham and pizza sauce packed underneath it. The funny thing is, that the joint is at a totally unremarkable spot in my home town, near the main train station. Needless to say, I`ll visit that place very often from now on.

Something great that happened to me today was making a good and nostalgic dinner my dad always use to make. Fried minced ground beef mixed with sauteed green peppers, onions, and bbq sauce to make a sloppy joe of sorts.

...I've decided to play around with the "random thread" button at the top of the page to stumble upon long forgotten pages.

Taking a half day off work today! In my opinion that's pretty great not to mention well deserved.

I wouldn't say anything "great" happened today but I have been feeling better which is a good thing in my book. If I had a kidney stone, I must have passed it. Thankfully it wasn't nearly as bad as the first one I had last year. That was a nightmare. I wouldn't wish those on an enemy (if I had one lol).

I went out and bought some chocolates today. Since Valentine's was a couple days ago, everything that was left was on sale! I got a chocolate bar, some truffles, a big assortment, and peanut butter hearts for ten bucks. :-)
