@Mantis. Haha, you've just introduced to me the powers of the pre-sleep cheese.

And woah, that's some creepy ESP stuff. Becoming one with technology in the dream state huh? I've never been to China but that sounds like some adventure!

Not necessarily a dream that came to me recently, but a thought I was having.

I think my favorite kinds of dreams are the ones where you're aware that you're dreaming. I do remember one I had a few years ago where I was trying to figure out if a song I was hearing in my dream was in the dream, or if my ears were picking up on music and putting it in the dream. I tried to figure it out while I was dreaming, but I wasn't able to and eventually had to wake myself up just to figure it out. Turns out it was in my head.

Back to the dream world again, and it sure was a strange one. I was travelling across the North Pole. I was also lugging a pretty large computer. Why? Well, for some reason in my dream it was possible to achieve really high hash rates in the North Pole when bitcoin/ether mining. In other words I'd earn a lot more money by leaving my computer running the mining software there. Maybe there's a supercomputer that only computers nearby can operate? Anyway, somehow there was this hotel in the North Pole. It was more like a small village actually, but there was a hotel at the front. I had to hurry across though since there were a couple of polar bears and komodo dragons nearby. (What the fuck, I thought the latter were found in the hot climate of Indonesia?) It was as dangerous as a real-life Skyrim, so I got across quickly.

Damn that hotel was warm. I remember remarking to the middle-aged lady who greeted me that it was hotter than in my home back in Britain. She seemed very friendly, but understandably she was a little dubious when I asked to hook my computer up to the power supply. I told her about mining and that I'd pay back any power costs doubled. "You're not the only person who has come here for crypto", she said, and welcomed me to eat dinner with them shortly after. The dinner hall looked like a church though, oddly. A moment later I heard a quiet voice. "I bet I can get you some pretty nice tea." It was a little girl with a British accent. You see, in some British dialects "tea" is a synonym of "dinner", so I knew what she was talking about. The following exchange (as best as I remember):

    Me: Oh?
Girl: Yeah, I have a menu on my phone. (Showed me her screen)
Me: There's some pretty good stuff there.
Girl: I can make sure you get what you want.
Me: To be honest, the food doesn't bother me that much.
Girl: Why not? Just look at the desserts.
Me: Listen, kid. Whenever people make offers like this I know they always want something in return. If you want to do me a favour, get me some socks because these are all torn up from travelling and it wouldn't look good in a church of all places.

Then my cat woke me up for food. Pity, I liked that dream and the lucidity of it, even if I don't like sounding like an old man when it comes to kids.
Gene: "Have faith in me guys, enjoy the ride—you're in good hands. I can handle this. I can do it!"
    Jim: "How do you know?"
    Gene: "I don't!"
    Jim: "I knew it."
Gene: "That's okay. There's a first time for everything!"

Maybe it's because I sleep so late or it's an indication that I don't get proper sleep but I can never remember what my dreams are. The only dream that I can remember is one where I was in Central London and everywhere I looked there was someone who I recognised or knew quite well. Nothing major or interesting

I've never been able to dream of what I want. I mean I sometimes sleep thinking and dreaming of stuff but I never actually see those in my proper dreams. My mum has always said that if you see lots of money or coins in your dreams then something good is about to happen but I don't think that has happened for us . Maybe your cousin should keep dreaming of money to see if it works lol.

I have random dreams each night and some of them are terrifying, some are horrible that I consider them nightmares. I don't know if it's good that I don't remember most of them, well I can see glimpses but they are all surreal. I don't like these kind of dreams but I think you can't control them, well for some people they say that they can control their dreams but not me.

@LOL. Nice. Going after the coin huh? What a cool dream! No wonder you remembered it!!! Interesting to learn how tea is also used in speech :o.

@mojari, awh man that sucks! For me, my dreams get real weird if I eat before I sleep haha. Only a couple of times I went to bed thinking about something then end up dreaming about them. I have interesting dreams with spicy food haha.

Essentially. The song was actually "Jump" by Van Halen, if I'm remembering it correctly. Basically the song was playing in my dream though the memory I had of it, rather than an outside source. It actually thought it was really cool how it all happened.

I normally don't remember my dreams when I wake up but whenever I remember a dream it's usually a frightening one like being chased by werewolves and vampires. Sometimes I'm about to wake up and I know I was dreaming of something it's like I'm watching the end of a story or I'm in it then for a split second I know what I'm dreaming off, I can remember it but whenever I open my eyes and fully wakeup I forget the dream. It's strange sometimes. One dream I can't forget happened 20 years ago I was about to wake up and I could remember having friends and we just finished something like a mission and it's like I can feel myself waking up lying in my bed at the same time I could see my friends far off well I call them my friends because I feel that we have known each other for a long time even though I can't remember them in the real world then when I was waking up it seems that they are getting farther and farther and blurry until i heard them shouting my name telling me "don't go back, were not finished yet ". Then I woke up, their appearance and attire were like something out of the LOTR movies and it's weird it happened around 4AM.
