I haven't been on this forum for a long while so I thought I would just say hello again and tell everyone why I haven't been here. I've been extremely busy the last few months, revising for my exams which have now thankfully finished (last one was on Friday). And now luckily I am on a gap year, after that it's back to hard work because I will hopefully be going to university. You should see me around much more know that I am on a huge break. I will also just be working on my little business idea (decided against building websites for me -> in the post above), and thought I would code a sort of gaming social network which I have already started developing. So that's about it really. Hope to be more active in the coming days

Well, today is Sunday and I don't really do much on Sundays apart from doing my laundry and going to church. But today, I really don't think that I would be doing my laundry because I'm done with fever but I will still try my possible best in going to church by 10:30 GMT.

I think after that I would be going to be watch English Premier League match between Manchester United vs Everton and Chelsea vs Arsenal. These two football matches are the match of the week especially Chelsea vs Arsenal.

After the football viewing, I think I might go for beer drinking with friends. Funny right? I'm sick but still planning on going for a beer drink. Well illness doesn't prevent me from enjoying my cold Hieniken.

Don't you wish there was more time in the day, sometimes?

Today has been a meh day. I haven't been having a good time I can say that at the least. I am hoping for some good news tomorrow.

I feel like I woke up thinking, YEAH productive day! and that just flopped. Stress is not fun.

    Stressed as shit.

It's been a tough work week. It's been back to back calls from people who are either assholes, stupid or an unholy abomination of the two. I never had my patience tested as it was this week. I had to grab a drink afterwards just calm my nerves.

Today has been better. Slept in and treated myself to a nice roast beef sandwich from the grocery store across the street so now I'm just plan on chilling for the rest of my day.

^Sorry to hear that dude. Glad things are better though.

It's been a bit of a rough week. The wicked witch of third-shift has been out so I decided to be nice and fill in. Don't think I have any more on the horizon. Gonna start savoring these nights now that I have them back.

Speaking of nights, was out and noticed how dark it got at 730. Best time of the year is here! So I'm kind of happy there.
    Life is demanding, without understanding.

I've been feeling very low for some time now. The strange thing is that I can point out everything that isn't great about my own situations if I focus on the mundanities of life, but when I feel like I'm near rock bottom I have no idea why. Depression is a funny pal to have.

I've not had the energy (or more honestly the interest) to interact with others lately unless it's absolutely necessary. Shutting myself off feels like a passive form of self-loathing. There are so many things I'd normally enjoy doing but somehow I'm denying myself.

I suppose I'll try starting next week more positively and try to get on track with things. Heh, I even forgot to run Member of the Month. There aren't any true breaks when you're running a community solo. Having said that, it's your awesome attitudes that are keeping this rusty vessel afloat!

Damn, that sounds like a drag, especially when depression sucks the energy out of you. I guess the best piece of advice I could give is just focus on what you have going for you. It's tough when depression gets you down that hard, but just try to occupy your mind on other things. It's because of you why we have this fine community so keep at it!

Thanks Starwind and I appreciate that. Yeah, that's what I often try to do. All my passion projects have in part been a way to take my mind off things. How are you doing lately, and are things calmer at work?

    Eh...not really.

I don't know why, but the past few weeks at my job has all the crazy people coming out of the woodwork. I don't know if it's because of the hurricanes that have occurred or what, but I've been getting folks that put me through the ringer. I've had a guy angered that, even though we waived his fee to take his exam, felt what we did wasn't good enough since the weekend he agreed to be scheduled to was on the week of his football game and there weren't any other better dates. Then, I had another fellow calling in thinking the exam he is taking was designed to make black people failed and made it sound like I was in on it, and then today I had someone who was basically trying to deflect responsibility for signing up for the wrong exam. Granted, I've been taking this much better than I was last week, though yesterday exhausted me so much that I had to take a nap the moment I got home. Still, I have a story that just a taste of what I typically deal with on a regular basis. I had to direct this one fellow (Who sounded like he was in his late to mid 20s) to a website to get a support ticket created and this is what happened.

Me: OK, sir. If you go to homepage.com/support, from there you can get your support ticket set up.

Caller: I just typed it in and the site isn't pulling up.

Me: What browser are you using? I'd recommend using either mozilla firefox or google chrome as the site is the most compatible with either of those browsers.

Caller: Actually, I think I might have misspelled it. How is forward slash supposed to be spelled?

Me: Forward slash is not supposed to be spelled out. It's the symbol that's located right next to your shift key on your keyboard.

Caller: I'm not finding it. What does a forward slash look like?

Thank the lord that this is over the phone and not face to face. I don't think I can hide my exasperated expressions when it comes to situations like this.
