They started allowing people over 65 into stores 1 hour before they open so they have a chance to shop since all the panicked morons keep hoarding everything. The bottled water I normally get is sold out everywhere (I get 1-gallon jugs of it) and all my usual online shopping has been stopped. Everything I order from month to month is either out of stock or they aren't allowing online shopping for them. Such BS.

We're completely fine with drinking water from the tap in the UK. The CDC said there's almost no chance of coronavirus spreading into that so I don't worry, but I know in America people worry about water a bit. Like our water, most of your tap water is flouridated anyway. I only really get buying bottled water in countries that simply don't have safe water supplies. A Taiwanese ex of mine was insistent on us lugging loads of bottled water from a supermarket, despite France mostly having good tap water. Though staying in France at the time, because she's from Taiwan that has unsafe tap water she'd become paranoid about it from any country.

Tap water is pretty good in my area as well. I never really understood why people routinely drink from plastic water bottles. So much wasted plastic. Although I do understand if they live in an area where the water is unsafe.
