RE: My Anime Collection (So Far)

Some people have a rather large collection.

I don't have that many in my collection. I have Trigun, Ranma 1/2. That's it. But I (had) quite some manga before my dad destroyed them for (wasting too much time on them instead of studying)...that was in middle school over a decade ago.

That had to be quite a devastating moment. I'd be peeved if my did that

Yeah that sucks hardcore, my mom pretty much bought me Manga's all the time as a kid because it always kept me reading. However, I felt at some point she was trying to get me to believe that she knew a bit about the stuff without ever reading it or researching. So around the age of 12 she bought me a DVD that she THOUGHT was an anime, turned out to be a hentai......:S

So yeah....age of 12 watching it thinking it was going to be like an anime and then 20 seconds in.....BAM! Boobies

might as well add another to the list here.

I found the Osamu Tezuka's Metropolis at one of the stores near me. It's the two disc DVD edition. I bought it for $1.06. I haven't had time to watch it, so i don't know if it's a good deal or in the dvd is scratched or something. this weekend i'll watch it and find out for sure.

Great film right there. One of my favorites. I have the same exact disc set as you do I think. $1.06 is a steal for it. I dont think youll be disappointed.
