Hey does anyone here watched Lord Marksman and Vanadis (Madan no Ou no Vanadis)? i just started watching it has a medieval european setting and has numerous kingdoms 7 of which are protected by princess knights called Vanadis. And all of these beautiful ladies are in love with an Earl of a small principality named Tigrevurmud Born. It's good, but it has only 13 episodes.

So I've just started a new series called Tiger Mask W, which is a sequel to an old ass anime that ran way back in the late 1960s. It's about a wrestler who disguises himself as the title character who partakes in various wrestling matches against others from a wrestling organization called Tiger's Den, a villainous group that puts it's members in the most absurd, cut throat training regiments ever, involving the characters having to climb a snowy mountain wearing only wrestling garb and pushing others to fall to their deaths. I'm only 2 episodes in but it's a fun romp so far. The fighting is entertaining and the animation has a slight sketchy quality to it and it does kind of have an interesting mixture of wrestler and old-school tokusatsu style superhero stuff like Kamen Rider. Hell, even the opening theme has that kind of style to it.

Despite having started Watamote and almost being halfway through I might drop the series. I hate not finishing a series but it's just grating. I think a better title to replace its other long title would be Confessions of a Grumpy Emo Kid.

I may try that MMO Junkie one recommended earlier in the thread instead.

I just finished watching season s 1 and 2 of Baki the Grappler, it's an old Anime I was watching some years back that I forgot to finish. I'm now watching another old anime Hajime No Ippo. So I guess I'm back to watching martial arts anime again. After this I'll start watching Tokyo Ghoul S3.

So for some reason, Crunchyroll shits itself whenever I try to watch Tiger Mask W so I decided to move on to another show. I'm watching The World Only God Knows. It's around a kid who only likes the girls he plays in visual novels who teams up with a cutsey demon to track down escaped souls that enter into various girls and the only way to exorcise them is by romancing them and thus, using his visual novel/dating sim expertise, he goes on to do so and wackiness ensues. It's pretty good, though I worry that it will just be the same formula over and over again and I hope that it has some better character and story moments up it's sleeves to prevent it from getting stale.

The other show I've been watching is the classic 70s Cutey Honey series. This one is interesting to watch. This was before studios started putting money into their animation so it's very basic but it has a great use of color. Honey herself makes the show fun to watch, with her mischievous nature making her endearing. It's fun to visit this series as this is pretty much where fanservice and the magical girl genre got it's roots from.

I'm currently watching two animes an old one called Kenichi which has 50 episodes and 11 OVA's and a new Spring Anime called Kakuriyo no Yadomeshi or Bed and Breakfast for the Spirits.

Kenichi is a martial arts type of anime, and is all about a teen named kenichi being the number one disciple of a dojo where 5 martial arts masters reside.

Kakuriyo no Yadomeshi is about a teen girl who was taken by an ogre prince to their world where she has to repay the ogre for what her deceased grand father owes him by opening up a restaurant beside an inn owned by the ogre.
