Seen it, but we now have to wait over a year for season 8. A year and a half from what I'm hearing.
We are all insane, we just act normal for the sake of others.

Yes. It's well worth watching. Just be prepared for a lot of risqué scenes! Unlike many other shows like The Walking Dead, Prison Breal or Dexter to name a few, this one doesn't drop in quality. (In my opinion anyway.) It's one of those shows that requires watching until at least the end of the first season until you can make a fair judgement. The narrative just isn't simple enough to write it off as unappealing early into the show unless you really don't like shows with a Middle Ages-like theme. It also has plenty of otherworldly elements like dragons, the undead, etc.

    As for the finale...

That was pretty fantastic. I loved its length though it kept me up a little later than I'd planned! How did I know the zombie dragon's fire would be blue? There was some very interesting information about "Jon Snow". Everyone knew he'd bang Daenerys so that was no surprise. What was a surprise is that he was actually banging his bloody aunt! At least it wasn't the worst incest in the show so far. I have no idea how they'll all fight off the undead. Although the next season (and final) will likely only have six episodes I heard they'll be longer, so it should still be a good length.

So you liked it then, huh, interesting.
I really couldn't get into it myself.

I thought it was just kinda painting by the numbers without too many weighty surprises.

    Stlll...
I did not expect them to kill off LF. Though I'm not sure if I'm more shocked or annoyed, because LF was one of the last sources for real intrigue and conflict (imho) outside of Ice Zombies. It all felt too quick, though it's understandable considering where we are at this point. But still, I really didn't like Jon/Danny hooking up, it didn't feel much more motivated than 'your hot, I'm hot, let's bone'. The Ice Dragoon was dope tho. But I was always more interested in the socio-political conflicts in GoT (surprise surprise huh?) and it just feels like we're fast running out of that. On to the Ice Zombie fight scenes I suppose.

    I dunno tho.
    Maybe I'm being too picky.

But I can't wait for them to bring back my favorite character:

There is sex and violence, which I'm usually not a fan of, but I don't really find it so gratuitous here. I do look away sometimes, which would usually put me off a show, but this one just captivated me. I didn't think I would like it either, but my husband got me started watching it with him.

If you like being on the edge of your seat, not knowing what will happen next (in most cases), you might just want to give it a try. It's very well done. It's an exciting show. I am sad the season is over and I cannot wait for the next one. I may rewatch the entire series again in the mean time. There is a lot to keep up with, and I'm sure I've missed some things (or didn't understand them or relate to them previously) that will mean more now.

I've watched the first few episodes of Games of Thrones, however, it wasn't very appealing, and a little bit of a B-movie and honestly just a little NSFW. Is it worth watching though? A lot of people love it, but a lot of people love Star Wars too, but I don't. So not sure if I will love Game of Thrones. What is it REALLY about?

I've watched all the episodes of the last 7 seasons 3x now. I'm patiently waiting for the last season hope it airs soon. They say that it'll probably air by mid 2019 though. I can't wait to see who will rule Westeros and how the war would be fought and which characters would die.

Mid-2019? For god's sake, I'll have forgotten most of the plot by that time.

Game Of Thrones is one of the most captivating series of all time. I happen to be a fan of the whole Kings, Queens and Dynasties shabang, so I found the last 6 seasons of Game Of Thrones pretty interesting. I left off at the first episode of season 7. I started to watch the series when season 5 was already out, not because I wasn't interested, but because I enjoy binge-watching. Now I'm probably going to wait till season 9 to continue watching.

It seems that the cast and crew have just finished shooting since they just had a wrap-up party in Northern Ireland a week ago. Although there's still no release date being announced, but a hint of a midyear release in 2019. Also Emilia Clarke who plays Danaerys told reporters in an interview that the ending wouldn't please everyone, lol another enigmatic quote that's left legions of fans debating of the outcome.
