    RE: The Walking Dead

I actually watched the two seasons the other day when AMC had it running for the Third season, which is coming in October. I actually heard from a friend and my roommate that it was good, and it was on one day. My mom watched it for the two days it ran and LOVED IT!! I am such a gushing Daryl fangirl I admit it too. But I might actually watch T.V. this year in college for the third season. And I rarely watch t.v. :S

    RE: The Walking Dead

Yep the third season will hopefully be sweet. I got the big hardcover books vol. 2-4 (since I already have the first one SIGNED by Tony Moore AKA the Artist for the comic) and I plan on reading them soon to see what happens where Season 3 starts off at.

Side note, the 100th issue of The Walking Dead came out on my birthday so I got that as well. There is like, over 3 different covers for issue 100. I got the one with Michonne and Rick against the world of Zombies.

    RE: The Walking Dead

I want to play the second episode of the game, but Microsoft did something rather evil to my 360 so I'll need to take a trip to the wareshouse. Only a few months until the third series. I can't wait. I guess in the meantime I should check out the comic. I was considering reading TWD and Scott Pilgrim pretty much at the same time anyway.

    RE: The Walking Dead

AMC has always been one of the best channels on TV for me, and the only thing that could surpass their quality showing of movies would be their original series. I mean, you have The Walking Dead, Mad Men, Breaking Bad...the quality of these shows are simply amazing, and The Walking Dead is no different.

The only character I hate in the show would have to be Carl. I won't post spoilers, but...he just screws everything up for everyone.
A boy has the right to dream. There are endless possibilities stretched out before him. What awaits him down the path he will then have to choose; the boy doesn't always know. At some point the boy then becomes an adult, and learns what he was able to become. Joy and sadness will forever accompany this. He is confronted with a choice; when this happens, does he bid his past farewell in his heart? Once a boy becomes an adult, he can no longer go back to being a boy; the boy is now a man. Only one thing can be said: "A boy has the right to dream.". For those endless possibilities are stretched out before him.

We must remember...all men were once boys.

    Yeah.....he really does....

Gotta say though, when Drew Carey was on the latest Talking Dead and discussing The Walking Dead, he did make a good point. He said something along the lines of how he loves each character because their actions are ones that normal people would do. It doesn't have this fake feeling behind it; every character's trait and belief and action that they perform is believable. Personally, I find every character's motive and reasoning behind their actions to be completely valid and I can argue that some of the things they do I wouldn't have done, but at the same time, I could still see it as a viable option that isn't so bat-shit crazy in the first place.

That's the best thing about the show; it makes the characters so real and tangible that you sort of develop a bond with each of them in a way that shows with over-the-top characters don't even come close to achieving, and if one character dies or goes missing, you feel it.

Exactly, even the characters who would seem evil or bad on the surface actually have a connection and sense of good within them somewhere. I won't mention any names but one certain someone was not seen as being a stable and friendly person but when they died, it still sucked and felt awful that they left.

Volume 2 and 3 should be coming in from the warehouse today so I can finally read them after work, can't wait!

Hey Mantis i Ordered the first Eps on my PS3 and i really liked it i thought it wouldnt be as good as i thought it would be but it was really great. I mean it let you do all kinda things and the thing where would you could save who you wanted to was pretty cool and put you more in like a real zombie ideal world if you had to actually pick who would live. I will be downloading the 2nd eps i wonder if its out i have not really checked as i had been playing Tales of Graces F lately. I really wished i could just buy them all now instead of just buying 1 eps at a time now. Can you do that? I wonder if you would half to pay the full amount .

(Aisha Clan Clan) I've never seen a ship like this before. It's far behind any C'tarl-C'tarl ship. It won't move unless you're naked! That's very kinky, wouldn't you say?

Yeah, I played the first episode. It was fantastic. And yes, you can buy them all on Steam for a little cheaper (if memory serves) if your PC is good enough to handle it.
